Unlike you fools, I have shot 1000s of rounds in competition on Uncle Sam's dime and know all too well when a National match M-1 barrel gets replaced. It's not 900 rounds and even when they are (lotsa rapid fire) they don't look like Tony's POS 280.
BTW Tony's barrel, a Hart, WAS a lot better bbl then a CM NM M-1 (before he fried it)!

So again just to be sure you post the expert opinion that after say 500 round you will start to see issues. You bought a barrel with roughly 900 rounds shot and expected it to be mint? The 280 has a max pressure of 60,000 I believe. If I am not mistaken a 243 is also listed at 60k max and that was your experts first listed caliber in your post.
But hey, you probably forgot more than I know and you shot a lot (mostly from the mouth) for longer than I've been alive so I guess you are right. Congrats on winning.

For your enlightenment, here is a video of a plain old 700 Remmy bbl that has seen 4400 (FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED) down the tube. Looks about 10X times as good as slippery Tony's POS. AND, of course it's nowhere near as good a bbl to start with.
