If by some remote chance the electorates don't vote Trump that isn't the end. In January the Houses of Congress also would have the final say/vote. Last I checked they are still Republican controlled. Trump appears to be falling in line during this brief transition, so far. Things are feeling a whole lot better than they were Tuesday morning. Even Tuesday afternoon.

Not this administration, or the next, but eventually it will happen.
The American people will not allow it, sure, maybe, a very small maybe, someday it will be declared, but I doubt it.
We may see it declared in small pockets around the Country, but I do not believe we will ever see it on a National level.

I just don't see how it could be done. Who is going to enforce it? The Military? The Police? Postal Workers?
I cannot see these organizations going along with it. I believe that most would turn on the Government and side with the people. Their families and friends would be just as affected as the next, again, I do see how they would enforce.

Under today's America, no one.
But if terrorists set off nukes in 2 cities, or we get hit with a massive grid down scenario, or terrorist attack a bunch of different schools or whatever... I think there are plenty of "black swan" type events that could lead to martial law. We can definitely talk about how likely, er, unlikely some of them are to take place but it is possible so I'm not ruling it out. I think it has a low probability but it's definitely not impossible. I feel a hell of a lot better now that Hillary has been sent packing.
