Which last part? Fudd wear or not willing to do fudd wear? And the last part screams "I carry a gun"
Look at me! I’m a badass!

So he’s less of a badass compared to someone who does it more?He does not usually carry like this. He tucked his shirt behind because he entered a store.
You can tell.

One main point of concealed (at least in OC states) is that invisibility is a better retention method than snaps and buckles. No, that wasn't my point. However almost no concealed carriers use a level 3 holster.
I am a big fan of OC as a political statement. No, not at all. That was my way of agreeing with you.
Do not forget, I am a fan of the ability to Open Carry. I think more people should do it more often.
Just don't do it because one think it is cool though.

Gotcha. I guess it does scream that one is carrying, but it is effective in hiding whateverFudd wear
So if you are open carrying in a long line at a store, are you constantly spinning around in circles so that you can see both the person in front of you and behind you?Doesn’t matter open or concealed, retention holster or not it all boils down to situational awareness and not being in a bubble, wether I’m open or concealing I’m not letting anyone get into a position or posture that they can reach for that gun, without a hell of a fight and putting me into a unconscious state. I have people milling around behind me all the time while working, get close and my posture changes to angle the firearm away from you, it’s all about awareness, as far as printing who cares except Fudds an moms demanding attention ?
if I’m at work with a firearm out on my hip and I walk into a store for the bank deposit I guarantee you I’m not waiting in any line. An as far as an old lady stabbing a 6’ 200Lb guy wearing a Kevlar vest dressed all in black.... good luckSo if you are open carrying in a long line at a store, are you constantly spinning around in circles so that you can see both the person in front of you and behind
We are not talking about your work while performing your duties at a bank. We are talking about open carry in general while off duty standing in line at Chipotle or for a regular Joe going about his business in a bank line.if I’m at work with a firearm out on my hip and I walk into a store for the bank deposit I guarantee you I’m not waiting in any line. Crazy old lady with a steak knife decides you need to go, what are the odds you would even know it was happening before you were bleeding out from a severed femoral artery ?if I’m at work with a firearm out on my hip and I walk into a store for the bank deposit I guarantee you I’m not waiting in any line. Just stating risk levels. That is all. Open carry at your family’s bbq carries less risk than doing so in Walmart on Black Friday and doing so on regular day carries less risk then on Black Friday. Those are facts. It’s up to the person carrying to judge those risks. You guys watch too many John Woo movies
The tactical advantage of surprise cannot be overstated.
To say that with training, you can eliminate that threat is not true at all. There is only so much you can do. You can lessen that threat with situational awareness but the threat is still there. It’s there with concealing too but concealing will minimize that threat even further than carrying open.
Yep. Things could have gone a lot differently if the FBI Agent would have been open carrying. The shooter could have positioned himself to be able to take out both defenders if he was intent on doing the shooting under any circumstances without standing down being an option.I wonder how many times the video in the church with the retired FBI agent will be regurgitated for training purposes. It covers a lot it of this discussion in the real world.

Lol...
Nobody can predict what will or might happen. Best thing we can do is give ourselves an advantage, whatever it may be, in any given situation. Training provides the muscle memory to overcome Body Alarm Reactions, and repetition is the mother of skill! Training makes us dull to distractions and hopefully allows the preprogrammed training embedded in our brains to run automatic should the need arise. Not always will it work that way. Again, tucked, untucked... Is secondary to the situation of being able to respond. If someone knows you are heavy (carrying) it is to your disadvantage if their purpose is to hurt you or others.
