So as long as you can go about your business, then whatever for everyone else? That's not what the 2A is about in any way shape or form. That's why NY has NO help from the rest of the free states that are laughing at us. If that's the case, then you're part of the problem, not the solution. I refuse to support any modifications to SAFE short of full repeal. Any concessions are lending credence to the law, and the whole thing is garbage. We all know that the LEO exemptions were put in place to pre-emptively take them out of the fight. And it worked. Those LEO's that took that piece of cake and bowed out are part of the problem too.
I had honestly been hoping to see Obama push through some sort of National SAFE Act. What better way to get the rest of the US into the fight? Talk about our modern day so-called "Pearl Harbor" event where the leftists have awoken the sleeping giant.

There are some good reasons to support this...discrimination of Uber...min pay raise terms....law abiding citizens with a NY State carry permit denied the carry in NY $hitty...sure there are others....it is logical,the comparisons but again..if the number 7 was arbitrary...why isn't 10 ??

I'll take it too on the odd chance it ever passed. Why? It'll blow up in their faces. Baby steps. You aren't going to get full repeal all in one shot by legislation. If this were to pass, the next step would be an equal protection fight from NYC.

I totally agree with you Will. I know a lot of people are saying "all or nothing" but I don't see that ever happening. Its a good first step towards full repeal. Apologies to those members that live there but if the people of NYC want to elect these anti-2A libtard politicians then let them deal with the consequences.
