Yes you’re correct that anyone can be arrested for many multiple things but the issue with this is they can take you away for just being possibly exposed with the best available data. You don’t have to do anything wrong like break a rule or order from the governor. Also orders from one person should not hold the power of law. Also with the snow storm last Christmas they did arrest people for violating the driving ban. In coat they brought in the national guard to help enforce it. Same with Covid they did arrest people. A guy south of me in Hamburg was arrested and the only reason more people weren’t is because it wasn’t pushed. So the only thing keeping us free is cops not arresting us, that’s comforting. It’s the same with the new law as it is with the old . Three of the right people and you could “disappear “. Heck , one person who could forge a few signatures and change a few records could make it happen now. Heck, that movie “the net” with sanda bullock was just a 1990s paranoid movie that could come true now. It doesn’t mean it will.
Yes, that would have been the technical charges just like if the governor ordered everyone off the roads and streets for a snow emergency. It’s not new.
How many people were actually arrested during Covid for violating the lockdown? And who instigated such a measure to have it enforced ie who enforced it. How many cops didn’t get the jab themselves and paid a price?
Any law can be misused, abused etc. The laws are already on the books to be able to do all sorts of things if purposely misapplied like calling gun control a health emergency and applying those laws incorrectly. Instead of completely fighting this law, add more safeguards like they did with the NICS check. They knew a democrat might sabotage the system so they put in a time limit in which if NICS didnt give an answer the sale could go thru.
Add things like go before a judge even if remotely. Specify the conditions of confinement— I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be put in a room of infected people if I didn’t think I was —also methods of communication etc— this might already be covered by corrections law — I don’t know.
