Had a 22 mag rim blow out on me today. Was firing my RIA XT22. No damage to the gun. Got a lot of debris to the face. Good thing for EYE Protection.

I have new neighbors across the street from my porch where I do my shooting from. The range finder puts us 250 apart. I'll need to introduce myself and get their permission or I'll need to move downrange to stay legal. I think the first night they spent in their new house another neighbor opened fire with a big bore trying to scare coyotes away at 11:30 pm. Scared the shit out of me so we'll see how the newbies are enjoying country life.

Finally carved out some time to do some load development. We'll see how this one goes and play with some seating depths.
After some fun with the Mini14 and PC9, my friend and I went Axis vs Allies, the Garand was a treat to fire. The Enfield is actually a WW1 manufactured in 1918,still shoots great. The K98 was captured by my father in law and mailed home from North Africa, his dad cut it down for a deer rifle. I'm getting the parts together to put it back in wartime condition.

Nice shootin ! Love the nice clean holes wad cutters make for target shooting. Makes scoring much easier than having to use a hole guage.

Love the holes, hate the feed heaaches. RN no problem but S&W M&P 45 does not like SWC. Same headache w/the 1911's. So RN and crappy holes in the future. MEH.

The friggin rodents have been eating my Tundra again so I've declared war on every critter that I see near. Using traps, poison, antifreeze, peppermint oils and 22 rimfire. I spent two hours holed up in my upstairs bathroom sniping red squirrel. The adults are easy picking but the new hatchlings move like they're on cocaine.

Went back to the cheap indoor pistol range this morning. I wanted to run the new standard capacity mags to make sure there were no issues.
Sig shoots low left. I bought a box of the Sig 124gr V-crown to see if the weight made any difference. Tighter groups but still low left.
I asked the guy behind the counter if he could adjust the rear sight. No problem. Pulled out his Wheeler sight adjuster gizmo. Took a bit but got the sight to move.
Went back in the range room and tried again.
16 shots with the Sig 124gr V-Crown
16 shots with 115gr Gold Dots.
Both at ~7yds.
Either I'm getting used to it or the more I shoot it, the groups tighten up.
Slightly better group with the 124gr.
