Got yelled at for shooting on state land yesterday by DEC. Only thing he could say was "park in the designated parking spot instead of off the road nobody drives on, and pickup your brass this is a warning on both." Wasn't even finished shooting but he decided to stand there and and wait for me pick up my brass. Needless to say I'm going back tomorrow. He had the audacity to say "I know it's legal for you to shoot here, but we don't want you here". Guess this ain't really an actual range but shit that was my to use little free range.

Go back with nothing but steel case, then when he says something (if he comes back) be like oh ok I'll pick up any of my brass then leave

Just got back. Beautiful morning interrupted by torrential downpours for over an hour. Blew out and was nice again but bullet splash was almost non existent. Proof Research barrel living up to its name so far. Haven't had time for load development yet so it can only get better. Whacking around 80% of my steel yotes at 1000.
