One positive side effect of CV19 is it apparently creates more open range time activity. My mail starts getting delivered there next week. Think I narrowed down my load development to a potential winner.

I abused my Ferris mower yesterday ( used it as a brush hog ) to push the range out to 200 yards I hope. Wanted to rent a roller to flatten things out today but it keeps snowing. I have a few small trees to clear also . If my groups look too horrible at 200 yards I'll let nature take it back to 100 again

Finally got out to the range today! Nothing too fancy. Glock 19, Ruger PC 9 and about 200 rounds through my MP Sheild 22

Quarantine practice- 60 rounds at 15 yards. 40 to the chest/ 20 to the face. Two handed and single handed, half and half mix.

Range still closed so went to local State Forest, sighted in my Winchester model 67A and cleaned up after others, story of my life.

Played with the old Hi-point today. But first we added a new Sight Mark red dot to it. Ya gotta love a rifle that breaks down using auto wrenches.

I just bought some fiber optic sights for my 10/22.
Im just using the gun to pick off chipmunks at 20 yards so I dont need a scope.

Didnt get any pics or video, but my girlfriend wanted to go shooting again. So we hit the range.

This is her 2nd time ever shooting anything. It's my old junky semi auto marlin .22lr rifle with just iron sights

Our club just added a 34" gong at 215 yards and she wanted to give that a try.

Well it took just 1 mag (10 rounds) until she had a good idea what to do and hold and was consistently hitting the gong, shed usually hit 4 or 5 in a row, then start to miss because she was shooting so fast at that point because she was getting excited.

But she was doing all this standing off hand with iron sights.

She was super determined to go 10 for 10 and her best was from the bench 7 out of 10 (landed the first 6 rounds missed 7th hit the 8th then missed 9 and 10)

a gorgeous day for relaxing at the range. What a way to spend the day remembering my brothers and sisters in arms who are no longer with us!
