Not for nothin, but... What's the definition of "inappropriate?"
I'm not criticizing I'm just wondering for a couple reasons.
?The forum is supposed to be 'Safe For Work', which traditionally means no nudity.

And I don't mean this in a dick way, but it refers back to the original argument. Who decides what is "safe for work?" If you work in hildabeat's office, a squirt gun triggers your lame ass. Who gets to decide what is OK?
Not me, certainly. No, we need not decide what is "OK." We need to decide who and why were are upsetting people for and for what reasons.

11. If you post anything not safe for work mark the thread NSFW in the title. If it isn't safe for younger children, mark it NSFK.
The problem is not being unable to read a FAQ. The problem is who decided what is "family friendly."http://nygunforum.com/threads/ny-gun-forum-rules.24/
Marking threads this way allows people to not click them, possibly viewing partial (or even full) nudity, or even pictures of fully automatic and suppressed weapons (in this state). If someone has an 'offensive' avatar you can't control whether you see it unless you ignore someone in the forum settings, and I really hope we don't need to go that route..
Again, it doesn't bother me, but I can see how it would be troublesome for some people.

If it was Ron Jeremy railing some chick, I could say "yeah, could you maybe look into that" (but not really, I have the option to look away, but if I were to concede something.)Fair enough. I've seen online communities discuss the same regarding what is 'NSFW'.. "if you work at Playboy nudity is safe LOL".. or if you work at CNN all gun-related sites are NSFW..
I consider "family friendly" to be, would you allow your young child to view it in front of you? Bad words are one thing (they hear/say worse in school), but nudity and other graphic content, I think everyone would agree is too much. At least in this country... other countries are more open about nudity, but shy away from 'adult language'.

Just think of it as bread kneading in a bread maker.
Pussification...this thread is doing it right.
Wildmans avatar? If it was Ron Jeremy railing some chick, I could say "yeah, could you maybe look into that" .
I'm afraid I disagree Tim. I've never once met a young kid that saw a butt and said "OMG! Now I am a sexual deviant!", or "Daddy!? What is that!?" and then have the dad be flabbergasted.General forum etiquette is no nudity unless in a NWS area,I dont really know why so many people are being twats about this but it is the interwebz so its to be expected.
Does seeing a nekkid bottom offend me,no but if my kids were younger I might not surf on a site that had them while they were around either.
It's the OREO isn't IT??
