Where do you live, middle of the Adirondacks? This has been every city, village and suburb in central NY, western NY, Hudson Valley, downstate the last few years, and getting progressively worse. Maybe not at 7 am, but the "sticker stores," "dispensaries," and "CBD stores" are everywhere along with the "glass shops" and the "convenience stores" that are pushing pot on every corner, and the pot fog comes from people, vehicles, houses and apartments everywhere. Along with the ambulances picking up people OD'd on opiates, Hochul is doing her best to make everywhere Kensington Philadelphia. Lasts year was an all-time record for overdoses.

My uncle was a full fledge alcoholic, he was a functional one, but still an alcoholic. You only knew because he was arrested 6-7 times for it. He always had a job and was never drunk at home around the kids but he’d get off work and drink/ due drugs.

Convenience stores do not sell weed around here. Actually, I have never been in one that does, anywhere.

The smell of raw weed is strong in my area. Its a far cry better than the annual manure season. There is a farm at the other end of town, about 500 acres. The first year they allowed CBD level hemp, instead of using his land, he leased 50 acres from the town to try out a crop of hemp. People were up in arms over the smell, next year they wouldnt lease him the land so he used his own land..... right across the road from the towns plot. So they got the smell and not the money for the lease and have to maintain an extra 50 acres of unused land. I dont mind the smell so much, but I dont agree with allowing it to be smoked anywhere outside. You cant walk down the street with an open beer but smoking weed is ok? NY could fuck up a wet dream.

I must live in the "good" part of Oswego County, as I have experienced nothing like that locally. Now, when I find myself in Sewercuse, that's different, but it was like that before weed was legalized too.

Ok, I looked through the many post on site and from some of the posting, I found a correlation with many on here concerning covid, the jab, gun laws. Using that information and this thread, it proves through SCIENCE that most of you are heavy pot smokers!

Now I see - smell young kids smoking weed openly in their parents and grandparents home.
Then there's the job I start next Monday through Wednesday. There's a table in the dining room with about 50 starter plants.

I am amazed at some of the ridiculous posts in this thread.
As usual, I was on the reservation twice today, you know, where the dispensaries are. I didn't experience any of the doom described and never do.
The only difference on the reservation since weed has been legalized is the actual dispensaries. Well, that, plus more freedom.
I'm on the reservation every day, I can assure you. No lunatics, no pot fog, people aren't driving all over the road, and all that stuff. It's the same as it has ever been.
I have read that it's a problem and always has been in the cities, IDK I never go to a big city. But it's not doomsday around here in a rural, semi-rural area. In fact, it's such a nothing burger it's not even a topic of discussion amongst us locals.
So yeah, some of the posts here make me facepalm... LOL

Yeah.... you have no clue. Weed isn't for me - i tried it a couple times 15+ years ago and didnt really like it, but it's more or less on par with drinking alcohol in terms of impairment. It's also less damaging on the body than alcohol. Yes people can get too high and it's dangerous to drive, just like driving drunk is... but people aren't turning into weed zombies or whatever. You're blowing it way out of proportion, weed isn't crack or fentanyl.
