That was my first thought . That rifle is a piece of history.It's his choice sure. But I still hate to see it go.
It's practically a historically significant artifact at this point.
Won't happen too quickly though, aren't they still holding it as evidence in his buddy's case for buying it ? If he isn't exonerated it might be the state or feds that destroy it.
He should put it up for auction to the highest bidder just to watch heads explode.
