Yeah, two totally different guns. Ultimately I see PCCs as range toys with some limited utility in specific situations. That’s still good to have
I disagree. A PCC is more effective to the user in an enclosed space than a high concussive rifle.Yeah, two totally different guns. Ultimately I see PCCs as range toys with some limited utility in specific situations.
A 5.56 carbine is a more versatile tool.
We are left with the FUAC model, but for the rest of the free world isn't the 1/2 x 28 the preferred sizing for suppressors for 9mm? Why a mistake? In the rugers website they have two models including one FUAC with 10rds magazine and no threads on the barrel that
I actually prefer vs. 1/2" threads that are a mistake IMO.

IMO Ruger is about 3 years late in bringing this gun to market. It's still a welcome addition to their lineup but I'll wait for the 45 cal. version to come out.
The 10-22 hikds zero perfectly. It is awesome....How repeatable is the return to zero with receiver mounted optics after the barrel has been removed? Does the 10/22 takedown hold zero after its been......... erm.... taken down?
This is basically an updated re-release of a gun Ruger offered many years ago, the PC9.IMO Ruger is about 3 years late in bringing this gun to market. It's still a welcome addition to their lineup but I'll wait for the 45 cal. version to come out.

And if it locks back on Glock mags I'm definitely gonna get one. It addresses every single need I have in a PCC with a takedown option to boot.
Sounds like its a straight blow back with some kind of tungsten buffer system. I don't know anything about the old PC9 carbines and if this is any different.Same delayed blowback system? does anyone how it is designed?
I think they a bit late but they have been listening and responded and also a firearm well made is not something you want to rush like others do.
I hope they release barrels and bolts for other popular rifles including the bottom for larger magazines like the 5.7FN.
I would love to have one in the tokarev cartrige or 9x25 dillon.
If they offer the extension and hand-guards for alternative calibers those would sell like peanuts IMO.
I just want to see some cool stock options, particularly the Magpul Backpacker stock.
And the super stealth bag/case.
Cool wish it was offered in more calibers but il probably be buying one

On the Glock mags too?It locks back
Yeppers. On page 2 I posted a videoOn the Glock mags too?
They would never be as popular as a modular platform like the AR. The best we could hope for is getting aftermarket support for this gun like we have for the 10\22.
If it is a delayed blow back it must use one a roller or a tilting system or gas. There is no tilting barrel on this like the glock so that is discarded.Sounds like its a straight blow back with some kind of tungsten buffer system. I thiink using the 10/22 proven trigger group is smart. It is a well proven, safe and simple system.
Reliable but far from perfect. There are a lot of companies profiting from Ruger 10\22 triggers.
Its definitely a simple blowback action, with the added mechanism of an internal floating buffer (tungsten) weight. Y'know so the while the bolt has enough mass to operate as a blowback action but not all that mass has to stop all at the same time which means the recoil of all that mass hitting the rear of the receiver all at once is reduced. Its a system that's been in use a long time but isn't all that common. Well suited for a PCC though. If it is a delayed blow back it must use one a roller or a tilting system or gas. There is no tilting barrel on this like the glock so that is discarded.
IF this is well design it makes all the difference vs. the AR and others even more cumbersome and awkward.
I just don't know how the PC bolt is designed. Never had one. I thiink using the 10/22 proven trigger group is smart. It is a well proven, safe and simple system.
