Sorry, had to. I usually carry a 380 in the pocket when running or doing activities like that.

I carry a snubnose in a belly band. Works out very well.

I wear a running pack with my water and phone. I wanted to squeeze my LCP in, but there is no room.

I tried the running pack with my 1911 inside, kept hitting my lower back. I ended up buckling my holster to the pack's strap and tightening. Felt much better, was able to go 3 miles, before throwing up.

I have no experience with running while carrying since I'm not one of the special ones in the state, but I have come across some things in various running discussions.

Any belt clipped iwb holster works if you wear a belt underneath your untucked t shirt.
I find that using the Navy's NWU camo allows me to blend in with the pavement better in an urban setting ,while the multicam pattern really excels in a more rural setting. This allows me to be much more concealed when I am runn. . . Ummm, never mind

My running pace causes me no difficulty with carrying, other than those people who tell me it looks like I'm taking a leisurely stroll.

They are Dexter cattle. Pretty unusual in the US but growing in popularity.
They are about half the size of "regular" cattle, at about 900 lbs full grown for the bulls. Their backs are only about waist high on a 6ft person.
We chose them because they are fantastic milk producers with 5% butter fat and fantastic meat producers too.
We make cheese with their milk and several types of charcuterie with their meat.
Also, thry are faaaar more healthy than average US beef cattle and very easy to raise organicly on grass.

Honestly, i haven't found a good solution yet. I'm seriously considering a fanny pack, but my carry gun is a Glock 17. A tad large for a fanny pack.
If i had a 43 or a J frame, i would wear a fanny while running an not think twice.

I use the PT-2. Love it. There is a little bit of bounce, but really not much and you get used to it pretty quickly.

Why not? Bad things can happen anywhere, anytime. Carrying should be your default mode, not just when you think you may or may not need it. BTW, if you think you may need it, you probably shouldn't be going where you are going.

Running a marathon with a holster strapped to your side really chafes.Why not? Bad things can happen anywhere, anytime. Carrying should be your default mode, not just when you think you may or may not need it. BTW, if you think you may need it, you probably shouldn't be going where you are going.

I try to carry as much as legally possible. The sharp stabbing pain of your pistol is there to remind you to keep an eye out.
I've been carrying for nearly 60 yrs. I haven't run for nearly 40 yrs. I carried more in the latter 40 yrs.
