I agree but maybe I’m missing something, but I’m not aware of how Ukraine was threatening Russia’s boarders? I see Russia as the aggressor here. Russia has been funding a group of terrorist or rebels for years to try to take back Ukraine. Now Russia is invading Ukraine. I’m not aware of Ukraine taking any military action against Russia if I’m wrong update me. I’m not following this extremely close.

I agree with you, but whatever victory they have will end soon. Russia is pretty indiscriminately bombing buildings with civilians in them. Are there fighters or armed men in there maybe? Are those civilians tossing molitof cocktails at them maybe, but they are invading their country.
Apples and oranges. They may both be fruit, but I see a huge difference between a partial naval blockade and a military invasion of a Sovereign nation.

Ukraine was one of the most corrupt entities in the world.Hunter Biden wasnt the only son of a powerful world leader involved in this corruption.As has been reported Pelosi, Kerry and others in US gov have family that was involved.I have to assume Russia and many others have people involved.Zelensky was elected to uncover and end the corruption in his country.I would bet he and his circle of allies has mounds of dirt on a lot of countries.Putin gets Kiev and squashes all with any dirt on him and the rest of them and negotiates a withdrawal.Just in time for Biden to declare a victory before the mid terms.

Nah. There were several planned escalations well short of any such action. The next move after the blockade was to install more Jupiter missles in Turkey, then Northern Italy. Bobby even placed calls to the Shah of Iran to lease some real estate on the Caspian.
I just want to know why people think because Ukraine is or was corrupt it’s ok to invade their country? I see Ukraine as no threat even if they would have signed onto NATO. Russia wants to do what Russia wants to do and not be impacted, ok I get it, but the only thing being threatened was Putin’s iron grip on Russia. Putin doesn’t want western influence in Russia so that’s why he invaded to keep Russia isolated. Well one man doesn’t get to decided that the people of Russia do and Putin’s afraid they will see the truth or a better way.
The missiles were discovered on Oct 15 on Oct 22 Kennedy gave the famous speech, on Oct 23 A Soviet flotilla was stopped by the blockade.On the 24th Kruschev refuses to remove the missiles, on the 25th Kennedy increases fly overs in Cuba and begins discussing plans to invade,on the 27th an "accidental" incursion into Soviet airspace occurs and on the 28th Kruschev backs down and removes the missiles.A lot closer to invasion than your scenario.The entire crisis took place over 13 days, hardly enough time to plan and install missiles in Turkey and Italy.

Friends (a Turkish diplomat's family and displaced influential Cubans) shared first hand historical details with me several years later and some US players directly involved (who reported to me during subsequent Cold War operations in the 70s) embellished on elements I had not previously understood.

Well that’s why I say the Russians will win the battles - and take Ukraine - but ultimately it will be a costly boondoggle as it’s clear the Ukrainians want no part of it. Already it appears that the Ukrainians are a dangerous combination of brave and scrappy. My hunch is that even if/when official support dries up, there will be plenty of black market trading to get them what they need.

He already did ... In back channel talks he let putin know (through China ) Ukraine was being allowed to enter NATO ... THIS alone is why he is in Ukraine ....Biden knew this would happen ... He needed a fall guy for all the economic chaos he has caused this country. ... Now we have a dangerous war because of Joebama ... Putin will never let Ukraine be in NATO and they knew this....
