Whats the SAFE act?
NC links your CHP to your DL/plates, and in addition, you must notify the cop. SC, you need to notify, not sure if plates are linked.now if H38 goes all the way thru .. this database is BS .. with anyone passing thru the state .. do all other states tieing PP to drivers license ? ..
My educated guess says no more than 50 to a couple hundred on the last day. Almost everyone I know already did it online. Nobody wants to play that game but us. We just don't have the numbers to cause anything significant I believe.I get the feeling the NYSP have no clue just how many Certified Return receipts letters they are about to get hit with.
I think they actually believe EVERYONE will recertify electronically

I may just go online too out of convenience since 150 guys from here aren't going to make much of a difference.
Just being real.

after this morning's little speech where cumoriod said, "NY has a right to higher taxes" the exodus from this state is about to accelerate. No one can actually be that stupid
Oh, yes. Don't be surprised. There was a story about a month ago on the news. The state is facing a deficit and needs to close the gap somehow. Higher taxes coming in the January 2018 budget are a possibility. So we will be paying for it thru taxes, fees, surcharges or whatever they want to call it to separate us from our money.

So when is the $5,000.00 pistol recertification fee coming??
I'd be more interested in getting them as the giver. So did anyone get the NYSP as their secret Santa recipient?
Can you regift something like that?I'd be more interested in getting them as the giver.
"Hmm, what's this in the box?...*unwrap* Oh look honey, it's a search raid and a dead household pet. Just what I wanted. "
Lucky them. Oh wait. Not.
Pistol/Revolver License holders who live in New York City, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties are notrequired to recertify through this process. Each of these municipalities already requires license holders to renew or recertify their license on a periodic basis.
