Scoring Targets

A little late to the game but I finally have a place I can shoot regularly for now.

I'm just wondering how you score, and write the score, for paper targets.

For example:



There are 16 shots in this target. 2 are clearly in the 9 ring. 4 in the 10 ring, although one touches the X-ring. The remaining are in the X-ring with a few touching the 10 ring.

What would be the score and how would you write it?

Total score = 158, 11X

Typically if the shot breaks the line, you get the higher score. Depends on the rules of the game you're playing though.

If it's close and your score counts for something, an overlay comes in handy.

Initially, I was just testing the new standard capacity mags I had gotten. The P320 ran flawlessly with them +1. The 10 round mags it came with, I had to run through 3x before I was comfortable with them.

Then I was looking at the thread on the monthly target challenges. And that got me to thinking about scoring.

I have an RDS coming so I will see how much of a difference that makes, if any

i get truckers all the time with photos like that on there phone .. i need this brass fitting .. and a photo like above .. LOL .
