I'm not even really anti vaccine. Once novavax or other protein subunit is available, I will take the vaccine of my choosing when I choose.
Look, freedom.
Look, freedom.
What would you have done if the court went the other way?Several at my employer. They tried to scare the crap out of us.
I looked it dead in the eye and said I'll schedule a shot of the clot wonder j and j for February 8th.
I played chicken and won.
What would you have done if the court went the other way?
I'm sorry to hear that.Gotten the j and j and hoped for the best, unless testing was free.
I'm sorry to hear that.
I refused long before I was told it was a condition of employment. I remain vaccine-free today, even though it is still a condition of employment. Staring at my salary and benefits statement really tested me one of those days, but doing something I don't believe in was never an option.Gotten the j and j and hoped for the best, unless testing was free.
Then fuck them, they can pay.
Without a federal mandate to hide behind, they'd be assuming a whole lot of liability..... Bet it doesn't stop employers from requiring it on their own, as a condition of employment.
That's why many employers frown upon forcing workers to get flu vaccines. Heck, I worked for a company that quit doing random drug tests because of a lawsuit.Without a federal mandate to hide behind, they'd be assuming a whole lot of liability.
I'm sure very large companies have calculated the risk, and smaller ones may think they won't get sued. It was made clear to me that it is my decision, nobody is forcing me, but it is a condition of employment. Whatever. Maybe it could be considered harassment, but it doesn't seem like discrimination or anything else. Coercion possibly?Without a federal mandate to hide behind, they'd be assuming a whole lot of liability.

Bit of internal conflict with it. I don't like peoples vaccine status being a condition of employment, but I would argue all damn day (maybe Saturday when I don't have stuff to do) that a business has the right to make that a policy. The government though - they have zero say in this whatsoever.
. Roberts and Kavanaugh joined libs in keeping mandate for federally funded healthcare workers.
You forgot that Obamacare Nationalized the Health Care Industry into the Health Insurance Industry.didn't know workers were fed funded .. just a hospital may be paid not technically the actual worker .. or does that mean like the VA hospitals all FED Payed ? not your public hospital in town ??
more to lawsuits to come
Remember OBAMACARE? The mandate covers virtually all health care workers in the country, applying to providers that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid funding.I guess the Constitution states a certain type of worker (Healthcare) can be tread on...Got it! Fucking Kangaroo court!
CMS, Medicare, Medicaid.didn't know workers were fed funded .. just a hospital may be paid not technically the actual worker .. or does that mean like the VA hospitals all FED Payed ? not your public hospital in town ??

President Biden's Statement on High Court Nixing Business Vax Mandate
On Thursday, the White House issued a lengthy statement from President Joe Biden responding to the vaccine mandate ruling from the Supreme Court. In it, he lauded the court's upholding of a vax mandate for healthcare workers as live-saving, while also expressing...www.newsmax.com
That's funny, on July 23 Jen Psaki said it's not the role of the federal gov't to mandate vaccines:From the article
"My administration began to institute vaccination requirements last July, when after months of making vaccinations free and widely available, 90 million Americans were still unvaccinated. Today, that number is down to under 35 million"
Are they using common core math? There are 330M people in the US, 207M are fully vaccinated, 248M have one dose. Even if we remove the 73million Americans under 18 that for the most part wouldn't fall under an OSHA mandate it still does not make sense.
Lol..This J&J ?Gotten the j and j and hoped for the best, unless testing was free.
Then fuck them, they can pay.
I haven't looked into it much yet. Bet it doesn't stop employers from requiring it on their own, as a condition of employment.
