Space in a safe is very limited. Stores cannot afford to hang on to purchases for long periods of time.

If they passed this law today and then arrested everyone who owned a semi-auto prior to today... that would fall under the ex-post facto definition. Thats not the case here. They're simply Banning sales of semis going forward. Unconstitutional no-less, but not ex-post facto by definition.

I feel bad for NY dealers. They now have to keep ALL ammunition out of reach of the customers? They also have to have cameras inside and outside that must store a minimum of 2 YEARS of recordings???
