The cop to citizen ratio is way out of balance already, but there would be absolutely no problem if more are needed, one at a time, been saying it for years, one at a time. Maybe not that far off either, never thought anything even close to SAFE Act was remotely possible in my life time. The constitution means NOTHING to the likes of Cumo, Shoomer, Clit'ons, Sanders, and the rest of the commie fuck's.

I bet most here have all their guns, ammo, and magazines all in the same shiny, painted safe they bought at Cabela's or Gander Mountain just waiting for when the day happens (if it ever does) for the Feds to easily take them.

Bury at least one good rifle and the ammo to go with it somewhere else. If the day ever comes, comply. Lead them to your safe. Be a good citizen for them.

At night, bust open your finished wall, pry open your floor boards, ect and dig out your rifle. Meet up with like minded individuals, pursue these Feds and shoot them in the back.

As @holdover said, "From my cold dead hands!" does nothing for the cause except getting you killed.

Think more than 1 step ahead.

These scenarios are already happening little by little by passing one law at a time until we are like England and Australia.

As far as the door to door scenario goes, it'll only happen if Martial Law is declared. Think Katrina on a larger scale.

What LEOs are going to "come and take them"? I don't see it happening on a large scale. Most LEOs will not. At least %75 would not comply. Most of us that can retire , would retire. There will always be the young " hard chargers", but not enough. What do you think they would think when all the senior officers/agents turned in their retirement paperwork. FEDS won't do it. They are much more pro Constitution then most realize, at least at the agent /officer level.. Locals wouldn't especially in the towns they live in. Most counties in NY voted for Trump. I don't think state police have the man power or desire either. Unless a democrat becomes POTUS and cuts a deal with a foreign government, it won't happen. If we get to that point there will be bigger issues anyway. I agree that Cuomo will continue to chip away at small groups, but large scale confiscation, no way.

I say 6% won't comply, 30% will comply with great gusto, 64% just want their job in the morning. After the first lethal confrontation 66% will comply with great gusto, 10% will become moles for the freedom fighters.

It was very low. Law enforcement from all over the country and national guard were down there. Katrina was a mess, but hopefully a wake up call for all Americans that will prevent it from happening again. National Guard units were blamed as well as some smaller local departments. The local police no longer functioned intact. Katrina was more a lesson in what can happen when there is no law and order. It was still wrong to confiscate arms from law abiding citizens, but much different than what we have been discussing. There had to be a hundred different department and agencies down there and it wasn't the Feds confiscating guns. The streets were run by criminals and it took time to get resources down there. This is much different than police going door to door in upsate NY suburbs . When society breaks down, lots of things go wrong. Still the number was low and most of the police were not aware of it.

I am saying it would take many if you are talking about house to house confiscation and most law enforcement wouldn't do it. Now, in a martial law scenario, the military would be on the streets. Still, I think most are patriots and wouldn't comply. The real fear is if society breaks down and "safe places" are set up. The rule will be , "bring your family to safety, but no weapons allowed". Many citizens will rush to get their family to temporary safety, at all costs. This is the only way I can see us losing our rights. whether we are law enforcement or not, we are all citizens. It's not us against them. Police are not the enemy. Politicians that believe their "progressive"(globalist) agendas are the issue. With Trump as POTUS hopefully that day will never come. Trumps greatest legacy may be saving the SCOTUS. Hopefully Kennedy and Ginsberg retire and are replaced with better choices during Trumps term.

Not as many as you might think, and I disagree with you assessment of quantity, "most". Most, your term, would do it. The exception might be Sheriff Deputies, because their boss, the Sheriff, wouldn't go along with that pogrom, for the most part.

First of all, the government is already corrupt. Secondly, they have been confiscating weapons. We already have unconstitutional laws in place. If you've bought a gun yourself and went through a background check, they know you have that weapon 100% and it is recorded. To think otherwise is actually quite idiotic at this point in time. Andy Cuomo already stated, "confiscation could be an option".

There aren't enough police to be going door to door all at once, so it would happen gradually. My guess is military would have to be involved and it would be a huge ordeal. If they did send out units and teams to start confiscating weapons, the word would spread QUICK. It doesn't matter if it started happening at 4:00am while most people are asleep, later that day I'd imagine many people, even non gun owners would know what's going on. By that time, civil unrest would surely start happening at some degree. People would be aware enough to expect a visit and would be able to act however accordingly they choose. I simply wouldn't stick around in my residence. Other details aren't necessary to share, because if it does happen, it means war against the people and likely a fight to the death for many. Being a slave is basically being dead anyways IMO.

Any patriot who loves America and the constitution owes it to themselves to take a few minutes to read the preamble. It will really put things in context and you may look at the constitution with a stronger moral conviction.

It would never happen without starting a 2nd Civil War. I think many on here underestimate where most of law enforcement's loyalty is. Close to 85% of Homeland Security voted for Trump despite the republicans trying to gut our pensions. Both ICE and the Border Patrol openly supported Trump. If anything, we as a nation are much further from losing our 2A Rights then if HRC had won. We are more divided as a people than I can remember. Do you really think most of LE or Military would back the left wing progressive nut jobs?
