Too many sick people that grew up glued to television/video/computer screen. They have no concept of what is real and what is fantasy. Unfortunately this will only get worse.
Texas is not as pro gun as everyone thinks..
Yes and no. It's more pro gun than NY but not as much as the stereotype says.
Texas is dangerously close to turning purple or blue
So you are saying video games and TV caused this.. can you share the study or evidence
Yup, I'd still say its top 10ish and obviously more than NY but its deff not top 5 gun friendly states, but many will think its #1 by a landslide

I would put a state like ID, MT WY number 1 in a landslide. That's probably the most pro gun region of the country.
Tx is kind of split personality when it comes to guns, it seems its one extreme or the other.Yup, I'd still say its top 10ish and obviously more than NY but its deff not top 5 gun friendly states, but many will think its #1 by a landslide
To reinforce your point, I found concealed carrying in Tx to be more restrictive than in NY, in part due to their 30.06 / 30.07 regulations and the 50% revenue rule.
I would lean Arizona
I'm not speaking for togmaster but I do believe that violent video games, movies and music play a part in these type of situations. It seems that some people have a hard time dealing with reality and that could be from the "everyone gets a trophy" crowd, then add in the blood and guts in video games that just resets itself and some one with mental problems may not differentiate between real and fake. Of course this is just my .02 but I'm not the only one that feels this way, if you want proof I'm sure it's on the net.
Shockingly, NYs carry laws (once you finally get your permit) are good compared to many other states.

Really? How so? We don't have anything like a stand your ground law, rather, we have a duty to retreat. Also, are you taking into account the whole restrictions aspect? Yes, yes I know NYS only issues a concealed carry permit, but some people seem to have "hunting & target" printed on their permit while others have "unrestricted" printed on theirs. This 100%
