I'm not speaking for togmaster but I do believe that violent video games, movies and music play a part in these type of situations. It seems that some people have a hard time dealing with reality and that could be from the "everyone gets a trophy" crowd, then add in the blood and guts in video games that just resets itself and some one with mental problems may not differentiate between real and fake. Of course this is just my .02 but I'm not the only one that feels this way, if you want proof I'm sure it's on the net.

To reinforce your point, I found concealed carrying in Tx to be more restrictive than in NY, in part due to their 30.06 / 30.07 regulations and the 50% revenue rule.
I would put a state like ID, MT WY number 1 in a landslide. That's probably the most pro gun region of the country.

Really? How so? We don't have anything like a stand your ground law, rather, we have a duty to retreat. Also, are you taking into account the whole restrictions aspect? Yes, yes I know NYS only issues a concealed carry permit, but some people seem to have "hunting & target" printed on their permit while others have "unrestricted" printed on theirs.
Who needs video games to make teens more aggressive, when you have the total debasement of the educational system and the MSM agitating on an hourly basis.
I'm not referring to stand your ground, castle doctrine or duty to retreat here to conceal carry law because they can just as easily apply to a homeowner with a shotgun.
I'm strictly talking about "where" I can carry in this state and "no gun signs" essentially being useless here.
An unrestricted permit here is awesome.
I can carry just about anywhere Texas can t carry in a church..
