Time reports 18 but does not identify them .... but likely came from Everytown that counts suicides, shootings near a campus, parking lot shots fired, and even cases where there was not a shooting.
USA Today Reports 6 but goes on to discuss them and there was an AD with injuries, a campus shooting at a frat house party, a parking lot shooting after a basketball game, 2 suicides, another parking lot altercation and a parking lot shooting at a charter school ( no injuries so apparently not in their total).
Bottom line, it looks like the media and Everytown conflate events where an evil a$$hole uses a gun to shoot kids in a school with the more prevalent suicides / accidental discharges / gang violence on school parking lots or fields / non classroom campus crime (eg crimes or escalating violence in dorms, frat houses, parking lots, parks) and this dishonest accounting keeps the process from accurately understanding potential common causes for actual school shootings as well as finding potential effective corrective actions that could keep childeren safer in their classrooms.

So this kid got inside a school he was thrown out of last year. Threatened kids in the past, not allowed a backpack when he went. Kid had shit all over his facebook page fortelling this, students said they predicted if anything would ever happen it would be from this kid and the principal or Supt said he didn't know anything about this kid ever being a threat. Wtf...
