I got HLN on the TV right now, and the kid the got on the phone telling his version of what happened, the kid sounds stoned out of his mind. He states they saw a victims body laying on the floor and "They didn't know what was". When he was asked how many shots he heard, he stated he only heard 3 rounds fired, but stated there was 3 rounds fired downstairs before shooter entered classroom and fired 2 rounds at the teacher, his story doesn't add up.

As I understand it, you need to be 18 to purchase a rifle in Florida, and 21 to purchase a handgun. From the pictures I've seen of him holding a handgun, he would potentially have been breaking that law? Not sure if it is legal to handle one under 21 if it is owned by his parents? It makes me wonder if the guns he is pictured with were either someone else's (his parents?), and was the AR-15 his parent's as well?

I am sure we will find out in time.

Pretty sure you can Florida own or purchase at 18 years old (long gun or private sale handgun) and 21 is for concealed carry or ffl handgun purchase.

This problem WILL NEVER, EVER go away as long as Parents are O.K. with allowing pills to babysit their kids. People have gone completely crazy with the way they are Parenting, every time a kid acts up, or gets rambunctious, and they can't seem to control them.... they run to the Dr. for a drug.

This problem is a combination of piss poor parenting, societal, and Family values issues. As long as the dirty pricks in Washington are willing to keep lining their pockets with lobbyist money, the guns will always be the blame. You see, it would require the politicians to accept some responsibility for what is really causing these situations. AND we all know.... they can NEVER admit they have been wrong.

I for one am very glad I am done raising kids. Not that we didn't enjoy it, but it was a very hard job, that took constant instilling of morals, values, and respect to make them the Men they are today!
