My (and “you) life is not centered around firearms. As mych as the gorum members would like to think they are, truth is 99% do this as a hobby, barely shoot, and are less than proficiant.

Now “you” can get all butt hurt about the above statement but i stand by it. Most suck using their firearms. Most cant even get off their asses to shoot our month postal matches @dsdmmat spends so much of his time running. Most do not participate in any formal shooting.

I have seen what the “average “ shooter does at various matches and at practice. They suck.

So, to base “your “ entire explaination of your existence on guns, is just ludicrous. “You “ trade all else so you can play with guns A LITTLE BIT. Is fucking crazy. Giving up other quality of life like taxes. High insurance. Terrible weather. Costly telephones, cars , boats etc etc.

I was actually in the firearms business making lots of money doing it. I also participated in various shooting sports disciplines, and i was fairly good at it. Far better than most of the regular wannabies. My best national 3 gun finish was 79% of greg jordan. That put me right at the tail end of the pro shooters. These people get paid to shoot. They shoot all the time. AND they have mad skills on top of that. I had a job to go to!

So, Dont kid yourself. I am not in the same boat. I am not willing to sell the rest of my soul just to play with guns. Oh! And i am not afraid of the govt. if they want “you/me” they will get you. Most wont survive the end or the world. So dont even go there. The bad guys are breaking into your house and no one i know has defended themselves with a gun.

Back to paradise. Enjoy hell.

What does proficiency have to do with anything? Like I said. You gave up your guns for pussy. I've been over there 3 times. I know what you are doing. Tell Mamasan over at Soi 6 that I said hello.

all joking aside .. some get it some don't .. .. i like guns . wish i had the health to do 3 gun .. i'm lucky if i can run 20 feet now with out a 911 call for O2 or CPR .. but i'll back anyone .. specially the junior shooters doing it

I'm glad he keeps doing it .. one day i may do it and get my friend and his wife too .. but i'm just one .. but a bunch do it .. i down load the targets for just in case we can get the time to shoot ..

I and my bud want to shoot out to 300 yrds ,, i got the place and all is ok .. we just have to get the time to do it .. its not that we can't shoot spot on for a high score .. its just when can we try and do it .. my self i don't really care .. shootin the mosin at 100 yrd off hand with spam ammo and hitten 6 inches or less of a 3 inch clay target is just fkin fun ... and i'm happy ...

gave the buds wife some Mosin ammo to make Christmas Decorations .. NOOO!!! thats Mosin Rounds .. ( she works at a ammo reloading shop here) using the rejects for Decorations

i'm single and he has a wife and 2 kids .. .. its just timing and doing it when we can .. maybe one day .. ..

i would rather help my close friends with what ever then say sorry i have to go shoot some paper and can't come over ..

It's Great that you could pack up and go @Eddie Gunks ..guns or not ..

Or whatever you would call a full length government barrel rifle with a flat top. Some companies sell that as an a3, but the colt a3 was an m16a2 with an a1 fcg made for export sale, nothing to do with the sights. Supposedly special forces bought these themselves, bypassing procurement, like they did with the "m16 shorty carbines".

First thing I would do is bring out the tools and put a real pistol grip and stock on my AR9 instead of the Thordsen it’s currently rocking. Then get BX-25’s for my 10/22 Takedown. Like some others have said on here, would start just with the guns I currently own
