What are the pros and cons.

I'd send it in too, it was a design oversight and it needs to be corrected. Guns get dropped, modern ones should be drop safe.

I bought mine at the Sig Sauer Academy in NH.
I spoke to a Sig Sauer customer service rep Friday.
She didn't have an exact time for when they would be
taking them in or how long they would take to upgrade them.
She speculated that it would be a few more weeks.

When I did the custom 1911 for the 10th Mountain we were promised the guns 3 months before we actually got them.

Heard nada. This was back in September I believe. Starting to get a little annoyed now with Sig. You'd think they'd pull out all of the stops to rectify this problem.

Sig originally didn't want to do shit for anyone, only thing that got them to do something was the lawsuit filed against them was revealed. Before that they told Everyone fuck off we are Sig everything we do is perfect

The 92FS is a nice gun. I happen to have one. Got to hand it to the Italians to make a sexy-ass gun. Still, I'd have a hard time concealing it. That's why I'll stick to the Glock 43 for now and probably for the future.

Hands down the 92 is really sexy, Your glocks are easier to conceal and what not. But damn do I love beretta

That's because Gramps has a Berreta. Had he only had a Glock 19, and some old revolver, you'd be singing a different tune. When you only know one gun, well....

We shot glocks. We really hate them with a passion. My cousin has a Glock in 45 GAP or gcp I think (I know it starts with a G)
Also we have 3 revolvers. And the Taurus Judge is really fun and I’m really accurate with it.

Dayten, why the dislike? Genuine question. I'm a Beretta fan and there's no arguing that Beretta on the whole makes much finer guns than Glock (typically for a LOT more $$$$) but Glocks work, and with a little customization, they REALLY work well.

Sure they're fugly, and I love ripping on Glock fans as if I were h8tr, but the secret truth is I like Glocks! An Agency Arms or similarly tricked out Glock is VERY fun to shoot, and I say this as the BIGGEST of 1911 fans you can meet.
