He had firing pin drag. I did say I didn't know if it was the gun or the ammo. How is that a cheap shot? Relax.Cheap shot.
What little we know at this point that looks like an ammo issue, not a gun issue.
Pics?I noticed my Sig P239 had that firing pin drag mark After it Blew up today!
WTF!
Mac gave it a fair review. I guess you didn't watch the whole video. Not a fan of the people on YouTube (especially MAC) bashing this new P365. It will def be my next purchase. Hear way to many good things about on Sigtalk.com and people that do own it here in hudson valley.
Its hard to fault Sig on any mishaps in my opinion. Glock has had 34 years to perfect its striker action since inception. Still hasnt changed. Sig Sauer built a whole pistol around a magazine. Now put it out to the public. I expect a few hiccups till its perfected. And sig always has running changes due to customer input. It took glock since 1995 (gen 3 ) to finally ditch finger groves and listen to customers.
But im not a hater. I own several pistols from various makers but I for one cant wait till i get the X ray sight P365. I will be posting a few of my handguns here to help re coup the funds !

For a concealed carry pistol, you want near-perfect dependability. Every gun has 'lemons' and hiccups, especially for first-gen pistols. Like @Willjr75 said, Tim/MAC gave it a fair review, and even admitted he'd been carrying it for weeks because he thought he had put enough rounds through it to prove dependability.
I was extremely interested in the P365 myself, and if I wasn't so invested in the M&P Shield (Gen 1, night sights, Apex trigger internals, several different holsters, ~10 magazines) I probably would have gotten one, because since we're limited to 10 rounds in this effin state, might as well carry 10.
Luckily I spent my annual firearm allowance already this year (M&P 2.0 Compact and the Ruger PC9 Carbine), so I didn't have the money for the P365 yet..
I'm sure SIG will make it right, but between the 320 drop test issues and this, it really spoils people's moods. (The 320 is another one I wanted, with the Rx Red-Dot Sight, but after handling one I decided to wait.)
Agreed.
I'll beta test software.
Hardware, not so much.
Certainly. SIGs stubborn and arrogant attitude only severs to delay progress on a solution while creating ill will at the same time. SIG needs to accept the fact that it has long since riden the reputation of the P210 and early German built P220/226s into the ground. SIG has good design ideas but as a company it needs to rediscover the nuerotic obession with QC of its roots. The problem is SIg's continued "It must be user error" attitude.
The problem is SIg's continued "It must be user error" attitude.
The problem, as stated before, is Sig's attitude. With production of any product no amount of in house testing ever catches all the problems. These days it just seems like there are alot of guns with problems coming out of Sigs New Hampshire plant
The problem, as stated before, is Sig's attitude.
"Your fault mate" doesn't cut it.
Companies should make their products, for the most part, idiot proof. To an extent. I mean there are always super idiots, but even when it IS user error, it should be a GROSS error on the part of the user.

Whenever I shop around for something, anything, I don't even bother with the good reviews. Those are usually full of people that haven't even used the item and give good reviews based on looks. Then there are the ones that use it once and have nothing to compare it to. The first thing I do is look to see what the good to bad review ratio is. If there are more bad than good that is a red flag. And usually the problem(s) with the item will repeat. Then I know what to look out for. I decide if it's an issue I can live with/work with. But you gotta be careful with bad reviews too. There are some people that have absolutely no ingenuity in fixing minor problems, some that have unreal expectations and some outright stupid people. I remember seeing a bad review once from a moron of a woman that claimed a small paper shredder filled up too fast. The solution there is very simple. Get a bigger shredder. I guess she felt the shredder should be able to defy the laws of physics.why would you dismiss bad reviews and accept good reviews?
MAC is a Great and impartial reviewer.
New Guns OFTEN have issues, i believe they have already made changes!
