Always easy to second guess when we weren't there. I'll bet they were scared shitless that they would get attacked/burned to the ground. Two people vs a mob. A show of force is the only thing that will deter these rioters. While sloppy on their safety I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - after all the 2A says nothing about training.

True, but should've had the muzzle towards the ground and finger off the trigger, which would reinforce they were being defensive with these cucks when they'll inevitably be taken to court.
Only means the citizens come with their own arms knowing how to use them. The training on how to employ them is supposed to be done once mustered into a fighting formation.

I agree with this statement for the most part. She was pointing the gun at everyone. She should not have done that.
however my thoughts on this changed slightly when I heard it was a gated community and the sidewalk is actually private property and they were threatened with their lives. We will likely never know the entire truth as usual.

Do they have self defense liability coverage

Was the family in the house armed
What model guns are they
Are you going to train and exercise now

We're all Monday morning quarterbacking their handling of a stressful situation. We weren't there, they were. We like to think we know how we would handle it, maybe we've rehearsed this similar scenario out in our heads. We're the exception. We're gun enthusiasts. We aren't "average Joe". We put more thought into it than most do.
The end result was they are alive and uninjured and their house wasn't burned down, and, no protesters/rioters were injured. I would say it ended about as well as you can hope.
Good for them defending themselves. They didn't go out looking for trouble, trouble came to their doorstep.
Hopefully this incident motivates more average Americans to consider these events and get armed an trained and to mentally rehearse these scenarios.

You can tell a few things just by looking at them. The guy is holding it in hip fire mode. He has no intention of using the sights at all. She has no firearms experience at all. These people more than likely bought a few guns for the house, possibly test fired them if they did at all, then put them away. They obviously never trained or practiced. That’s evident. You can tell that he isn’t a real AR guy by the way that gun was configured as well. No new hand guard. No optic. Nothing. The magazine is an old GI mag. The rifle looks like an old Bushmaster or Rock River Arms from the 2000’s. Based on that one can surmise that it is probably loaded with ball ammo too. I do not see this guy buying defensive hollow points and never upgrading the rifle with at least a flashlight. It’s probably never been zeroed either.
I’m confident of that just by looking at him.
