1236T in 3 phase. I had put the money down for a 1340GT with the promise that it would be here by this week, and got an email saying they just left Taiwan a few days ago, so could be another 4-6 weeks before I saw it. I asked if they had anything else and they had the 1236T (a little smaller but fine for me) but only in three phase. So, I got that plus the VFD for a little cheaper, and the more I read on the VFD use, the happier I am with my decision. Except for the VFD user guide & programming manual is 400 pages long
Do you have much experience with the grizzly tools? I'm thinking when I start my wood working shop decking it out with their stuff. Then replace with better stuff if I need to.

That's a nice set-up. You probably won't miss the extra swing unless you're trying to turn brake drums or something like that.

I've got a mini mill and my brother has a lathe. It seems like a good value for what you're getting.
If you're patient though, you can get better deals on used American made stuff of higher quality, sometimes already decked out with accessories.

True, but you do have to be patient and know something about the equipment to know if it's beat up or not (or know a guy who knows). I spent the last two years looking for something used and finally made the call I did to buy new. Most folks selling good used stuff are asking way too much, at least in my area. But it's out there for sure if you are patient - I just kinda gave up.
Dropped this in my G23 tonight. It sucks. Trigger is no better and in fact a tad worse I think. And yes, I oiled it. I just think my stock connector is broken in so it's pretty good already. I also noticed the slide met some resistance when cycling back forward. Took it right back out. Now I'll have two see how much I paid for it to see if it's worth returning or not.
When your connector is creating too much resistance up against the slide, usually means you have to adjust the connector and bend it slightly inward. You take the connector out and spin it 180 degrees and then you can push or pull on it depending on which direction you need to bend it. Here’s a video to give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
It still doesn't lighten it up or make it better. The gap or bend looked proper though. It needs a slight gap from its housing so it can act like a spring.
