Makes me wonder what the OKW would look like if they turned up the lumen rating as well. Turned it into a 1,200-1,500 lumen version. What the spill and hotspot would look like.

This whole moving thing is treating me well. I found a second round of .38spl, and a dummy round of .30-30 I made back when I had a reloading rig. You can see the striations where I cycled it through my Marlin 336 tonight. Pictured are my “ammo finds”:

Your Marlin needs to get its nails cut. That's a lot of scratches!
I visited my family for a baby shower today. While I was there my father gave me his father’s M1 Carbine (IBM Contract) that was issued to my grandfather when he fought in WWII. Based on the barrel stampings it was from November of 1943. Pretty cool to own a nice piece of history. It’s definitely well used but the action is butter smooth.

I put it through a bunch of times, like a kid hungry for “ooh! Gun! How does it work?” and also showed my daughters how it works. They liked the loading gate, and especially how far it could get ejected. Dummy rounds are fun.

Now that is pretty awesome. M1 Carbine doesn’t get the love it maybe should.

Able to run on rechargeable 18350/18650’s AND CR123’s. Just in case you need to. No more worrying about putting CR123’s into the light and have them not be able to withstand the high average draw of the new lights...overheat, expand, and possible explode. Lots of people still run CR123’s since they are vital for nods, IR, Lasers, Eotech’s...
But will it eventually come to market
I couldn't resist a Midway clearance sale. I just ordered a Blackhawk bipod that extends from 14" to 29-1/2". At my age I deer hunt sitting on my rear end most of the time and this should be perfect for steadying my shots. I tried a homemade stick bipod, but it is not that stable. UPDATE-the bipod arrived yesterday and it extends from 14" to Holy Bipod Batman 29-1/2" and anywhere in between. It was only $29.00 on sale.

Cci also makes a #11 magnum cap. I only use the regular 11's for sight in and playing. I know the pain of only hearing a cap go off when hunting..
