The spaghetti noodle trick will suffice when you don’t have a borescope. I’m not a huge fan of sticking anything into the gas port that hopefully breaks and falls free, cause I’ll be pissed off if I have to remove the gas block that I just Rocksett into place to clear the gas port. I’m sure it’s probably never been an issue for anyone else, I just prefer the borescope since I can see everything in real time and can 100% visually confirm alignment.

My wife got me a combo anniversary, Christmas, birthday, Valentine's Day present. I always wanted a chronograph. Optical ones were a no-go. Most of my shooting is indoors, and I doubt most of the ranges I frequent would even let me set one up. Plus I figured I'd end up eventually shooting an optical one anyway.

Now I get to stop flying blind with my reloads and can see what factory ammo is really doing out of my guns.

Well just came in, don't have time today to sit down and put it all together but we gotna new cage/enclosure for our Blue Tongue Skink.

Going to be much nicer for all of us (specifically Maxx), we have been using a 40g breeder tank and now moving up to a 4 foot x 2 foot x 2 foot with front opening doors.

So the AR10 that I built also seems to really like 175gr Buffalo Bore Sniper .308 load. Here’s another target from 200yrds with the Buffalo Bore in comparison to the Federal 168gr that was previously posted. Bottom right was just an off hand shot early on.

Got a nice little package yesterday. The First Aid kit is laughable really, be ok if you have kids that might get a scratch lol. Has Band-Aids, alcohol wipes, antiseptic creams, and what looks like cut to size steri strips.

Holster shopping now. The M&P bag may work quite well for a trauma kit.
