My 7 day stretch was billed at something like 75k , but because the hospital is in bed with my wife's insurance company they only billed them for 25k.
Looks like my heart surgery bill and I was only in overnight.

Got a good deal on a Samsung s20+refurb for 460 bucks. It's like new and unlocked so my simm for Verizon works perfectly.
Got my Glock 17 Gen 4 today (used, 3 mags w/ Trijicon tritium sights and a custom slide plate cover for $450) and installed all my Wilson Combat internals (connecting bar, trigger and trigger bar) and flared mag well so far. The silver on the mag well will match the barrel.
Once I get my custom slide and barrel in, I'll put the last few Wilson Combat pieces on (firing pin safety and spring, firing pin, and slide cover plate) then it will be getting a stipple job and Wilson Combat logo laser engraved on it from D1.
It's a work in progress so far. Prepping the Glock 17 Gen 4, required a much-needed cleaning.

I get near the end and start thinking "going together kind of easy eh? Why am I out of bolts?" They swapped the label on 2 bags of bolts. They all had to come back out. Unreal.

Got this today. It's for an upcoming arrival that I'm waiting for permission to pick up.
Got some more carbon built up on this thing. Just a real quick session getting a semi-zero with the Vortex Razor HD Gen III. Target acquisition was a little slow since I had it dialed to 10x to see impacts on paper for initial zero. Targets were at 100yd, 200yd, than 300yd. Targets aren’t large, just some 12” steel plates, much smaller than an IPSC silhouette. You can see how the NOX’s taper does it’s job well to prevent carbon building up on rear of it and causing carbon lock of the Sandman-S.

Do yourself a favor and a ditch the factory Glock adapter plate. Buy yourself the Foward Controls Design OPF-G RMR. It fully supports the front and rear of the optic as well unlike the Glock plate which leaves gaps in the front and rear of the optic. Filling those gaps helps keep that optic tight and zero’d. There’s much less chance of having those screws sheer in the FCD plate. Instead of the factory Glock plate which the only thing preventing the optic from moving forwards, backwards, or in place in general are the screws all by themselves.
