Took it to the range today and put 200 rounds thru it. I shit you not it was the softest shooting 9mm I have ever shot. Right out of the box I was more accurate with this than I have been with any other gun. Usually I have to put a mag or two thru a gun before I start shooting accurately with it. With this I was hitting all bullseye right from the start. I already decided it’s going into my carry rotation. I just ordered a spare magazine and a holster for it. Once I decide on night sights then I will be adding those. It’s very rare that I shoot a gun that lives up to the hype, but this is one of them.

Found some 140gr 6.5 cr and grabbed a box of 147gr 9 to try in the epc.
I'd suggest swapping out the OEM plate for a better after market mounting plate like the OPF-G by Forward Control Designs
I was going to suggest the exact same thing.

My Defense Mechanisms MEPC came in the other day. The DM setup consists of medium front and rear bags, with the rear being of the molle variety, 5” QD Hybrid Cummerbund small/medium, Triple AR Mag Pouch Placard with G Hooks optimized, MEPC Padded Cable Management Sleeves, Double Pistol Mag Expansion, Zippered Half-Pocket Expansion, Side-Ride Flashlight Pouch (patiently waiting for the Cloud Defensive MCH to drop), all covered with a small Velcro Placard Wrap.
The DM gear on my GBRS Assaulters Belt are the Double Pistol Mag Pouch (3” double stack), and the Single Rifle Mag Pouch (4” AR15), MEPC Velcro Hook To hold my PIG FDT Delta’s.
I removed the QASM buckles from the carrier since I’m running the G Hooks and I have no need for them to remain on the carrier. Most, if not almost all people that I can think of, won’t be swapping placard systems while running through a course of fire, or being shot at. I’d much rather have a more slick setup whenever possible. The G Hooks fit that role by lying down flatter and not being as wide as QASM buckles. If you do want to swap it out, it’s still no problem at all. Peel the Velcro and undue the G Hooks in pretty much the same time it takes to undue a QASM placard, so it’s a win-win. I added two pictures of the size difference of G Hooks to QASM buckles.
Also for anyone who’s wondering what size plates they could get to fit into the medium bags. I happened to have a set of RMA 1155’s that I was curious to see if they would fit and they absolutely do. It’s a nice tight fit for decently thick plates, though I wouldn’t suggest plates that are bigger than that for the medium bags since they most likely wouldn’t fit. So if you plan on running plates the size of 1155’s or smaller, which honestly fits most peoples size requirements, go with the medium bags. You don’t really want to have loose saggy carrier, plus you gain the benefit of the weight savings since the carrier is physically made of less material. I could go into all the other items in this entire setup but don’t want to make the longest post known to man LMAO.

So before I went out west for my Dad’s funeral my air compressor motor decided to crap out. I bought a new motor but the shaft was too big and the mount holes did not line up. I returned the motor and bought a new compressor. I stripped everything off the old tank and set it up to use as a air holding tank. So now I have 60 gallons of air at the ready instead of 30.

Never had a plan for finished lighting in my garage shop. Never quite bright enough. Decided to try a couple simple screw in LED's since they weren't too expensive. Think I'm gonna buy some more.

I had some 4' shop lights I put in my garage. Fluorescent bulbs would take forever to come on in the winter. I changed them to LED. 3 lights and it was like daylight in there

I just got in some fresh screws for my 629. I marred them all with sloppy screwdriver work when I first got the revolver. While I was at it, I bought the extended cylinder release for it as well. It's very nice not to have to break my grip to release the cylinder. Should be great for keeping a consistent grip while target shooting.
Also got some Birchwood Casey lead remover and polishing cloths. They work great at getting all of the burn marks off. Not to mention helping to get the lead out from a handload I tried that left a ton of lead deposited in the barrel.
