Picked up an IWB holster for my G43 from Just Holster IT. Grabbed a Kore gun belt and buckle as well. I’ve been wearing this around the house for a few days adjusting to different positions and levels of cant. We’re going to go on our first trip in a little bit.

This is a little late and a bit click baity, but awesome. The day the ford maverick was announced last year and ordering was opening up I reserved one immediately. I was excited as this was the truck I've been waiting for. My employer has massive buying power as they buy and order around 10-15 vehicles/ year and informed them of it. They got me in touch with thier corporate contact and he guided me through. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, it was not to be. Over the course of last year maverick ordering was closed to the model year and won't be reopened until August. I hadn't forgotten about the truck but was saddened that I could get mine, nor could I even see one before or sit in it as they are rare and dealers have a hard times acquiring them. Fast forward to last Friday. Last break of the day I was heading outside to vape. As I opened the door what was parked across the doorway?
A brand new ford maverick. My employer arranged having one delivered to the shop, just for me to see, touch and sit in one. It wasn't one they ordered nor intended to keep, they did it just for me. And they aligned a new ranger they own next to it just so I could see the size difference.
Man I was beaming ear to ear. Thier contact was there and I was able to get my hands on it for awhile. Break was extended for me just to have it, sit in it and drive it.
Best employer I have ever worked for.
Things have changed and now for the better and I will be ordering mine on August to be delivered the following year. Dealer will be picking me up to order it first day they are available again and I will be leaving my deposit for it. Hell, due to my employer, I will have the truck delivered to work and my trade in picked up there. One of my better days I've had in awhile. Made the right choice joining them, its paid me back in spades.

They are always hiring as people don't realize a good thing when they have it
. I will never understand how bonuses, 2x raises annually, red wings boots as Christmas presents, free beef as random gifts ( they also own a cattle farm), catered lunches amongst a host of other things is viewed as a "bad employer ". They are incredible to thier employees. As to the anticipation, its turned into resolve to get it done now with one thing that's certain. I will never leave this company, they have earned my loyalty without question ( this is just 1 thing they have done without even mentioning the myriad of others during the last year).
