I finally decided to spend some money today. So we went to The sleep number store and bought a new mattress, being delivered in about 10 days hopefully it is as good as my friends and co-workers have told me

I have one and it's an odd thing to get used to. If you move left or right you come off the inflatable part (on a king or queen) and end up on the foam section. I have had it for about eight months and I'm not completely sold on it considering how much it cost's. Just my 2cents.

We went with the I8 without the adjustable base because we have a platform base. I haven't found an aftermarket adjustable base thin enough to work with the base I have.
I also don't use the intelligent feature because I refuse to keep my cellphone in the room with me.

@GOPerfect FWIW, we have been sleeping on select comfort beds for 20+ years, currently on our second one. We love them. My back and marriage greatly appreciate it. No clue what model we have.
Worth a lot. I shopped for one due to the great reviews by people that I know. I am always looking for reviews of good products.
I could not pass up this sale either. The have sales a few times per year, but, the one we bought was 50% off. I am happy.

The two models look pretty much identical. We waited for one of the big sales also but after everything is added up it's a pretty expensive mattress.
Like I said it takes getting used to. It's an air mattress basically and sometimes you can tell. My last mattress wasn't old but the support turned to crap. That's why I wanted this one so if it gets soft I could just up the pressure. It definitely helped my back.

Cabelas Black Friday sales I bought 10 more ammo cans at $10 each and I bought a vortex spit fire 3x for $249.
Figured I’d chime in here FWIW. I’m unaware of how far they’ve come in recent years , but we bought one about 13 years ago and it was one of the worst purchase I’ve ever made. It was just a glorified air mattress with a divider in the middle and that’s where we both ended up in the middle of the night. There or the outer edges of the bed. It was horrible. Sold it to some young kid on Craig’s list. I think they were pretty popular back then because it sold immediately. Anyways, that was our experience with ours, I hope yours works out for you.

I just bought two pairs of danner shoes. The mountain 600 and the 2650 GTX.
I have a pair of Danner Tachyon’s, they’re extremely lightweight. I have the “heavier” version since I have the Gore-tex option. Even with them being the “heavier” iteration, they come to 35oz for the pair…that’s 1.09lb per boot. If you get the non-Gore-Tex version, they come to 26oz per pair, they’re 0.81lb per boot.

Not gun related, but, with the Black Friday deals, I just ordered three pairs of shoes from Merrel. I was able to use my normal discount along with the Black Friday deals. Got one pair, normally $160, for a whopping $37. Not bad at all.
