Finally had a chance to pickup the Sig P250 I bought a while back. Added the Armorycraft flat face metal trigger and the Sig X-Compact grip module. It fits my hand like a glove and with the adjustable trigger there is no pretravel at all to the trigger. Going to a flat face trigger geometry also makes the pull weight feel lighter than it is. It feels like a crisp 5LBS now instead of the original 6LBS. The gun was basically unfired and there is no discernible wear on the magazines, barrel slide or barrel hood. I’m fairly confident that whoever bought it new originally never ever fired it.

Got a relaxing moment of zen at the range today. Club was basically empty and in between shooting it started to pour. I just took some time to stop and appreciate the moment.

A new flag to fly at camp.
A pair of grab handles for the tractor, between them and the 8" drop step makes it a lot easier for me getting on and off with out grabbing the steering wheel.

Tried out a new load for my rifle at the 100 yard bench rest centerfire rifle shoot this month. Even with 3 flyers that I pulled I came in 4th place. Unlike a lot of guys at the club that use full rests or sleds I’m just using a Harris bi pod in order to make it more about my skill as a shooter. I also stick to commercial ammo to make it more challenging (most seem to hand load what they shoot). Was shooting frontier munitions .223 match 68grain. This was the second string of shooting (20 rounds a string in 30 minutes) after I had already shot the first string and warmed up the barrel.
there’s something satisfying about using an AR platform bolt action AR15 with only a bipod and out shooting guys with custom built benchresr rifles using full rests/sleds and hand loaded match grade ammo.
