Went to Scheels for the first time. Huge store, with a large hunting/shooting section.
Not sure if these factory Mini-14 30 rounders are still hard to find, but I saw only one hanging there and figured why not? Oddly, it was less expensive than the 20 rounders.

More rings and a mount. Having a tough time finding a mount and ring combo that I like for my sons savage. 2 piece extended rings are tough to find now that so many LGS are closed up, so its buy online and throw them into a box for future use if they don't work. The Hawk rings look nice and promising but boy are the expensive.

You should look into Warne Rings. I’ve got them on a couple of my rifles and I quite like them

Smith & Wesson 340 PD, the lightest .357 Magnum you can buy.
Ammo on the left are the intended carry round, .38 +p Golden Saber bonded. On the right are .38 148gr standard pressure wadcutters for practice, in the center are 148gr .357 Magnums to satisfy my curiosity. If I can get through a full cylinder of 5 shots I'll consider that a win.
Holster is a Mika pocket holster.

My electronic headphones hinder my cheek weld when using a rifle. So, I am trying these ear plugs from Surefire. Only $20 from Midway USA. I bought the medium size. They come in small, medium and large. They feel pretty comfortable and seem to do a good job at noise reduction. I figure for $20 they are worth a try. finally this thread shows up .. lol

well today i got a old school cookbook in the mail .. 1946 and who ever owned it added clipping from the monthly magazine .. 1941 is the

earliest date so far i found in the book for added recipes ..

i have one i got from my mom and its worn out .. this one is awesome
