With everything going on in the world, along with the the whole "shit happens" philosophy, I've decided to go back to carrying my ankle IFAK. So just got these in. My current ankle rig is more of a place holder and not the actual one I want that will come later.

Anyways..

2 NAR Compressed gauze
1 NAR Emergency Trauma Dressing (4")
1 HyFin Vent chest seal twin pack..




Since it's not the ankle kit I eventually want I'm not sure I'll be able to fit the chest seals (not to happy) so until I order the actual "rig" or whatever you want to call it, I may have to leave the chest seals out or I'll see what I can figure out in the morning..

Don't forget tampons. Great for bullet holes too.

I hear ya. It might hold true for a .22LR in a non vital area but anything else......forget about it. Then again a band-aid would suffice for .22LR.

I've been carrying a SOFT-T Wide for some time now but I am most likely going to be going with a CAT and swapping them soon (they are the only two TQ I'll use, but there may, MAY, be some rumors that SOFT-T company was not so helpfully with someone trying to ship medical gear over to Hong Kong, and they were actually down right rude AF when contacted... I can't confirm this so I won't officially say that's what happened, but piecing together what info the individual was willing to divulge at this time one company told him to fuck off other company seems to be very helpful...)


Anyways rant over. So far I was able to fit everything but the chest seals in my place holder of an ankle rig. I'm a bit bummed but I never really liked this rig to begin with and really need to stop being lazy and order the one I really want.. SFD Responder 2.0

I've been needing to build up my glock 19 magazines. Picked up 5 this time, made out alright since brownells have them on sale and got free shipping, came out to a bit less than GMW with a discount code

And on top of that my buddy has an affiliate code with a bunch of websites (brownells and GMW bring 2 of them) I get my mags at a good price and he got paid, so win win.

So much truth.. my goal is to get 15 mags for the 19 for training/eventual classes.. rotate the very low amount I have for now to be range/malfunction mags. And then another 3-5 that are strictly carry mags.... 5 of which in the first group of 5 will be set up the exact same way (same floorplate) as my carry mags leaving 10 to be "spare mag" for training purposes.. if any of that makes sense..

Then rotate every so often. 5 go into the bottom group from the "middle" then 5 from the top go into the middle group and then 5 new mags..

This way I always have 5 freshish mags, and get more for training. And the oldest soon will be reliable in giving me malfunctions hopefully

With a day off from hunting and work I had a chance to shoot my newest RPR . It’s been many years since I shot a rimfire , I must say it was a blast to shoot a 22 again . This rifle will no doubt see some serious range time in the near future.

Yup! I managed to get the pin on my rifles but skipping that step is a peace of mind. Ya he told it was $5 more, but said he would do it for price of the regular Andersons. Top notch FFL in Syracuse.
