Santa was pretty good to me this year and brought me a new Kore Essentials X5 Tactical edc belt, Ameriglo GL-429 suppressor height blacked out iron sights, Taran Tactical +3 mag extension and spring, Agency Arms trigger with the aluminum trigger shoe, Surefire X300U-B.

I’ve noticed that since I took up fishing again I can get better presents from the family. They would never get me gun related stuff.
so I got a new fishing reel, some dry bags for the kayak and warm clothes because I don’t want to put the kayak away yet

My future S-I-L did a shadow box for my brother for Veteran's Day.

I ordered replacements of my long lost stuff to make one of my own. Waiting on a Class A patch that's on back order and have to find distinctive unit crest for 464th Engineer Bn.

Thinking of maybe a tri-fold board with discharge cert and flag in center, Combat Engineer stuff on one side and MP stuff on the other.

I'd have to drill and ream the barrel to size, then push the rifling button through. I'm still thinking it through.

I've been looking for a press for a while - mostly for other projects. But I'd like to try and make a barrel.

I've been busy organizing my new safe. The top shelf left a lot to be desired because the back of it is cut out to allow for long-barreled guns.
Since I don't have anything that requires that much room for the barrel, the top shelf was largely wasted.



I wanted to put pistols on the top shelf but the cutout made it impractical. So, I started thinking it over about how to make the best use of the top shelf and I came up with an idea.
I picked up a cheap pine board & some felt and made an insert to fill in the entire top shelf. I had to make it in 2 pieces because it'd be impossible to get it in there in one piece.
I cut the board to length, then wrapped it with the felt and stapled the felt onto the bottom side of the board.
Once installed, it fills in the top shelf into a solid, usable space.



While I was at it, I bought a couple wire pistol racks to put on the top shelf. I bought one 6 gun and one 4 gun rack and they fit in there perfectly.





There's even enough space under the wire racks to store a couple holsters & magazines.
