Posted this in another thread but it also belongs here.

Ended up ordering the parts I need to complete another upper. I have an old YHM two piece gas block with a bottom rail and flip up front sight post, so I am going to do an old school delta ring build with the factory type drop in plastic handguards.

I ordered from Del-Ton. I haven't ordered from them since like 2010, lol. I got my first completed upper and a stripped lower from them. We'll see how long it takes haha!

The parts I ordered are factory mid length drop in handguards, gas tube, upper parts kit, charging handle and a handguard end cap.
I figured it would be a nice little project to pass the time but knowing my luck the parts won't get to me until after everything goes back to normal. Oh well, it will still be a fun little build when it happens.

Damn, Delt-Ton doesn't mess around. Didn't expect this to arrive as fast, lol. No complaints!

A few things today, I got a 4rd extended tube last Dec but really needed a 5rd'er for the 2x4 match coming up in May (hope this crap is over by then!) A mini chop saw from HF. for trimming rifle brass 4 lbs of powder (Waiting for the Dillon to be delivered today!) And some acetaminophen as they are saying don't take ibuprofen (Walmart was just about sold out)

Just about finished. Took about 200 yds of shale to fill in but enlarged my useable area by at least 50%. Storage for the boat , camper , etc. All the way out to the stump pile are my steel targets for rimfire, about 100yds. Gonna sweep the driveway, wash my filthy ass, drink some beer with a couple intermittent shots a whiskey, and probably piss my wife when I tell her I’m putting crusher run over some of it for a road/access and not doing top soil and grass for all of it!!! Cheers!!!
