Think I got brass poisoning. Stopped at the club garage after the range today to see what Bob was doing in there. Got roped into damn near 3 hours of brass sorting. Our guess is probable close to 450lbs worth.....and we're only half done.

Just ordered all the parts to complete an AR308 upper. @GOPerfect‘s AR build thread got me thinking about completing it. Went with an Anderson 20 inch barrel. It shoots great groups in with my Matrix AR10 figured I would do another one.

Our club investigated this route many times. Since we have an outdoor range the levels of cleanliness required by the reloading companies is just too much. It's hard enough just getting anyone to do what we do now let alone getting them to do more. I hear what you're saying though.

I would imagine the guys that reload always pick up their brass even when its hit its last load?

Magazine pouches. The trouble with having a variety of guns with different mags is sorting through them. This will make it a lot easier. Just insert mags and label accordingly.

Unless I'm mistaken, there seem to be a few who handle the bulk of the workload and the rest leave it up to them. I see a select few, and one in particular, who spend ALOT of time keeping the place in good shape. I don't think there's enough available labor to prep brass beyond the simple sorting we already do so anything more than scrap value is going to be a tall order.
