Put the air valve in the cap. Put the cap on the bottle. Pump it up with air. Then shoot it.
Less than spectacular, but fun. We tried with and without water in the bottles, and I think we got a bigger pop with the water. We're out of bottles, so we're done experimenting for today. We'll save the caps for when we accumulate more bottles.
It might be fun to put some flour or other powder in there for some "smoke".

Water bottles got 30psi, coke bottles I tried up to 60psi - those buggers are tough!

Fun Idea for kids besides just punching holes in paper. I bet if you put a cup of flour in the bottle and maxed out the air you would get a nice little puff of smoke with the pop.

Sunday was one of the hottest days of the year, we didn't get out shooting, the kids had fun in the small pool we bought at Wal-Mart.
I made him up a target stand that he can shoot the pellet gun at and the pellets stay in our yard, he set some soda cans on the cedar fence and the pellets were going threw the cedar fence boards.

All I got was a 100 count box of Speer 145 grain 7mm bullets to load up some 7mmTCU BULLETS that I just formed out of 223 cases and a new to me Pachmayr forend for the 14 inch 7mmTCU I just put on a frame.

I'll go find the related thread tomorrow and post up on it but - suffice to say things have apparently changed and it's in your interest to (nicely) pester them- they only send a couple of robo-calls now, no letter, no voicemail. Mine was good to go since January and I had no idea. Nice guys finish last.

So post is a little late as I have been way to busy lately to hang out on the forum but my daughter turned 4 last month and I am turning 40 tomorrow so I got her the pink Cricket rifle she wanted and I got myself a Gen 4 Glock 30. Actually my first glock. Best part about the G30 was that since I moved up to Lewis County out of Ulster County I didn't have to wait a month to get it added to my permit. Walked into the clerk paid my $3 bucks and walked out with it added to my weapons card. I so love it up here.

I picked up the 10 1/2" stainless 44 magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk that I had on lay-away today. It came with an old shoulder holster.
I also picked up a few odds & ends for an additional $40. Four holsters, a sling, a old Lee Auto-prime, a couple of razor knives, a wood chisel, some screw drivers, some drill bits and a pair of needle nosed players.
I need to get paying on the Thompson Center Encore with eight barrels that I have on lay-away.
