How are they on the highway? Are they loud?
Not really but my exhaust grumbles a little and has a whistle from the turbo so it's hard to tell. I don't notice a humm or anything though.

I'm torn between my own variant of a tiger stripe, or the German style Fleckatorn (spell?)
Rattle can of course. I'm not buying a new airbrush at this time or I'd use Alumnihide.

I like the rattlecan look, especially when it starts wearing off.

I have heard very positive reviews of Alumnihide holding up well.
Although the rattle can method is quick and easily repaired .......... I hear ya!

I’m not sure how I feel about Aluma-Hyde. I’ve seen too many pictures and videos of it applied and it ends up with too much a sheen for my taste. I prefer more of the flat sheen that standard rattlecan jobs give. It prevents light from reflecting off of it very much.

Hard to tell from photos but that could be Hirtenberger. If so, fine ammunition and most of the stuff I had of theirs was actually boxer primed and typically in sealed battle packs. Definitely would be all over that if I were closer.

I did have good luck with the Malaysian surplus 7.62x51 got consistent, even groups of 2.5" @ 100 yards.
