Was the slide ,optic ready or did you send it out to be milled?
I have a Shield compact 2.0 .45 that I’m on the fence on about having it milled for a Holosun sight. Not sure if I should go that route or just install some suppressor sights instead , due to how short it is.

It was optics ready. I had to get a shim/adapter plate from C&H Precision though. The 507 allows you to co witness with the irons. Though my shield also came with night sights so I'm not 100% they are standard height. I think they are.

Have a Romeo dot on the 365xl and the battery died. Have to remove it to change the battery so if it's coming off it's going away. Not a fan of the red dot anyway so I got a green one instead.

Me personally, I like the Green in brighter, as well as less lit times of the day when shooting outside.

I can see it better and pick it up faster. I also have astigmatism so the red is a bit of a starburst for me.
