I looked at a number of models. My old Rigid is still awesome, but replacement parts (as simple as a drive belt) are virtually unavailable anymore. Me dropping a miter saw would be like a cop without a squad car.

I'll be putting it through the wringer next couple days but I can say the "knuckle" slide is beyond description. Completely EFFORTLESS. Bosch realized this and added an adjustable friction joint to stiffen it up.

Very nice saw. I have the DWS 780. The thing is a beast. I find the laser cut line is a bit useless though.

Update on mine. Got a chance to chop up a house full of MDF door casings. Son of a bitch is smooth. Deck rotates effortlessly. Positive locks on the miter stops but not jarring.

The main deck is textured, supposing it's to have a better hold on the workpiece. My Rigid was smooth so moving this around will take some getting used to.

I may have to tighten up the knuckles a little more though. Still seems too smooth. No major complaints as of yet.

Not sure why it came out a little blurry on here. Bought the camera a couple weeks ago. Man does it feel great to go with mirrorless rather than my clunky big nikon. It shoots way better than my Nikon as well, but this one was $1,200. Bought the camera strap and the red shutter button. That’s about all I’ve purchased lol.

Probably would not come out blurry if you has used that nice DSLR to take the picture! Seriously though, nice camera!

Just ordered a second stock for my the Ruger 77/22 with the bull barrel that I got at the end of last year. Plans were to shoot this in a rimfire benchrest league but the my Club started a NRL22 shoot. It's the same laminate stock that is on the rifle now (not many choice of stocks for this rifle) My plans now with this stock is to mount permanent picatinny rails on it. Cole-Tac makes a bag and mounting system that attaches to a rail, Now with 2 stock I can easily just change stocks for each discipline.

I was waiting for free shipping from Midway USA which started today.

The stock is the same as this that is on the rifle now.
