Glad I was up early, some guy posted this local, needed Christmas money. Met him at McDonald's, came home with it and a diet coke.

Good luck with that. I have asked (just for curiosity) my county clerk how to add a pistol purchased in NC to my license and was told it cannot be done without shipping it to a NY FFL. Of course then it would have to be shipped back to NC so I could pick it back up. Removing guns is almost as tricky. They are supposed to be transferred from a NY dealer. I just laughed and said I guess I will have all of the handguns I traded away on my license forever then. Was Hochul on hand for that transfer?
I didn't even show ID...but maybe I'll add it to my NY permit just to spite that bitch.
I hope it holds up better than the one I bought my kids a while back. The one I had only worked for a short time. It was a blast while we had it working. My so. Was like a delta team member with that thing. I was amazed and he was only about 10.I picked this up for my boys for Xmas today…should be a fun toy at the range. (Livin in the burbs, can’t shoot it out back)
Have already added a private sale gun and a gun bought at a dealer here. Just sent in the amendment form with the gun info and wrote private sale out of state or in the case of the dealer here, just sent a copy of their receipt. No issues getting a permit back with the new guns on it.Good luck with that. Do your self a favor and take that tap and die set, leave it in the package and throw it in the garbage.

Its beyond useless.
I speak from experience.
Those are worse than not having any taps or dies. If you don't have anything, you won't get into a position where you rely on them.I basically got it to clean up sae threads. If I want to tap something, I have a metric Irwin tap and die set.
I’m lucky as I was gifted a huge set of old taps and dies from like the 40’s and 50’s in great shape. I don’t use them much but I’m happy to have them. Those are worse than not having any taps or dies. If you don't have anything, you won't get into a position where you rely on them.
With those chinese pieces of shit, you'll have a tiny glimmer of hope that they'll get you out of a bad situation. The glimmer will turn into despair and broken dreams when they consistently and repeatedly fail you.
I recommend returning those, use the Irwin set as a back up, and as you need them, buy something made of high speed steel (HSS) from ebay or Amazon. The cheapest chinese HSS taps and dies will out perform the Irwin set. The harbor freight ones just don't work.
A home run is finding American made HSS tools for reasonable prices. That's very doable when you're only looking for a single size.

I have the heat gun. It works great for bending pvc conduit and cleaning out the snow in my patio door track.
I have the same one. Its been to the gunsmith for some issues, but works like a charm now. Watch your shoulder with that one!Who says Faceb##k is good for nothing? I found another gun on my list while scrolling. No selling or prices are allowed so this one was getting a lot of price requests through messenger, so I skipped that and called the shop. $50 on a card held it till nextTuesday but I put things off and picked it right up.
New/ old stock from Remlin 1895GS guide gun ,45/70 that a collector had. It goes well with my blue and walnut JM. 450.
It took an hour driving through shit weather and worse drivers but I'm calling my favorite xmas present this year.

Look for High Speed Steel (HSS).Have an Amazon set you can recommend? There's so much crap on there.
I returned the Pittsburgh
Garage sales too. Many people don’t know what they are and the amount of people with the knowledge to use them is dwindling rapidly.Look for High Speed Steel (HSS).
At this point, I just buy them individually as I see them from either ebay or amazon. I prefer quality brands if I can find them cheap, but have had good luck with the chinese HSS taps and dies when the good ones weren't available for a reasonable price.
