Retread. Was out of the game for a couple years after pushing an ambulance for nearly 20. Decided to re-up when I joined the fire department.

There were 17 students in my class. I was the oldest, and the only refresher. I very quickly established myself as the salty old bastard that people wanted to learn from. 15 were SUNY Geneseo students who are younger than my stepdaughter. I think their numbers start with 43.

Nice. Congrats.

Started as a CFR. A year later went up to EMT. Did EMT-I for one cycle.

Did some volley work for a little bit. Commercial EMS for a few years. ER Tech at St Francis before they sold to Westchester Med.

Good times. Would have stayed with it if it paid.
