parts came in yesterday so I installed the manual safety on my P365 X-Macro Tac-Ops. Since all P365 use the same FCU and it was designed from the beginning for a manual safety it was super easy to install. Took about 10 minutes total. Easy to engage and disengage, but very unobtrusive if you don’t want to use it. Highly recommend it.

Bought a new to me car today. Picked up a 2005 Kia Sorento. 141,000 miles. Yeah it's 20 years old but being a southern car, it's not all rotted out. V6, 4wd, limited slip differential, 5 speed manual. Pretty good shape. Couple of minor things but mechanically fine. In the last two years, new A/T tires, brakes and rotors, clutch, and a/c serviced.
Just before that, traded into a CZ 452 22lr in immaculate condition.

If it’s anything like the similar year Hyundai Santa Fe make sure it has the valve cover alternator recall done. There was an issue where the valve cover could leak oil onto the alternator and cause electrical damage or a fire.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it. It has the 3.5l V-6. My son drove it yesterday to get it back to the house. Almost 90 miles. Mix of back roads and highway. No issues. I'll be going through it today and cleaning it and seeing if there's anything I need to do right away

The pre 2012 ones are way better vehicles than the later ones. The 3.5 is a solid engine. The post 2012’s with the 2.4 are dumpster fires because of that 2.4 GDI engine

Nice ! I love mine , it’s a tack driver. I traded with Gunner57 for it. He was a huge 410 fan / collector and I had a really nice Savage bolt action 410 that he wanted. He traded me a 452-2E new in the box for it .
And down the 2011 rabbit hole we go.

Oh just bought a CPO 2023 BMW x1 with 12,000 miles in it. Nice car and pretty fast. Black on black so I had it ceramic coated because I hate washing and detailing cars these days.

Did ceramic coat and expel. Granted it's a summer car but I only wash it once a year. A quick dust off and your good. Ceramic coat is the best thing ever.

Dealer did it and it was $1,199 for inside and outside. They stain treated all the carpets with a 7 year warranty and same for the paint damage. I didn’t think that price was bad either. I know it’s expensive. I have a lot of birds in my yard and we live close to the Niagara River so there are lots of sand flies. I don’t want to be bothered scrubbing them off
