Prove it. Prove A) There is a "break down of family values" B) this is the cause of drug use, murder, etc.

And again, it's up to you to demonstrate that prostitution is somehow bad. You've not done this yet obviously because "well I don't like it" it's not a valid reason.

Here are some facts that cannot be disputed.

1. Prostitution has been conducted since the beginning of Society.

2. Not all prostitutes are dirty drug users. Many supplement their income with it. Many make a good living in front of cameras. Many make their sole living on it and charge top dollar. There are many prostitutes like the Elliot Spitzer type that probably have more class than you and I.

3. When legalized, you do not see the dirty, disease ridden that you are used to seeing. Go to Vegas to one of it’s many ranches. There you will find the total opposite.

4. Prostitution happens under your nose daily and you do not even realize it. That girl at Starbucks that you think is cute just started fucking a guy that will take her out to restaurants that she cannot afford normally and help pay some of her bills. That hot neighbor you have 6 houses down that’s married to that fat bald guy, did so for financial security. That woman you see at the gym on Mondays is an online escort that specializes in being a dominatrix.

Now whether it’s something you wouldn’t do or would not want your daughter to do, that’s on you. You don’t get to tell me what I want to do. If I was single and wanted some poontang, why can’t I go to a place like Vegas and get some? If a woman wanted to supplement her job at Walmart with prostitution so that she can buy a house, who are you to tell her that she cannot? She wants to do it and another man wants to do her. It has nothing to do with you.

Ex. If you say that prostitution is the cause of bad things, you should throw out something more concrete than "look at NYS" or "the families are breaking down".

Additionally, OP appears to be advocating for government to enforce his morals on the rest of the state. Replace "prostitution" with "speech" or "gun" and see how that works.

Hold on a second. The side that is advocating sexual puritanism is accusing others of being on a high horse?

If laying out the most basic of talking points makes one side look so much smarter than the other, that doesn't say much for that side.

This doesnt mean that steetwalking would be legal. It would more then likey be like Nevada where it would be legal as a place of business behind closed doors.
Women would be able to operate without pimps for protection. It would an a legal business that can hire proper security.
