welp! SD & TN are probably the most 2A friendly states in the country, and it will, in my estimation, stay that way unless the stats turn blue. Before you think Im wrong? every country in TN, except for 4, are RED, Same with SD, every county was RED, except 6 ( it may have been 7 or 8 ) The point is, these states are extremely conservative, and really don't like liberals. Its only temporary . Theres no comming back .
OOOh shit, this is bad, this is bad, this is bad, this is bad, ~~~~oh wait, don't panic yet.

I really doubt that would change anything. ie: when the country was shut down.locked down for the covid scamdemic, Kristi Noem left the state open and told residence, "its not the government's job to regulate you, use common sense and do what you (Dakodians) feel is the right thing for you to do"I agree unless it changes federally
This is a state-by-state legislative and judicial battle with federal ramifications. DC will only enter the fray if voting anti-2A on a federal legislative level will not become a career-ending move, as witnessed after Clinton's AWB. At least in the purple states. There are a lot of purple states.I agree unless it changes federally
I'll be in the wilderness, I will be hunting with a crossbow, because Im getting to weak to work a Compound. But as more and more people become dependent on the government, only a few of us will be left on our own. And the globalist will, undoubtedly hunt us down and kill us with a drone strike. But at least I'll die A FREE AND SOVEREIGN individualThis is a state-by-state legislative and judicial battle with federal ramifications. That is why this needs to be fought out in the states. To send a message up to the federal legislative level.
Once you get federal anti-2A legislation that sticks, then the globalists move in.
This is not a conspiracy theory. It is printed for all to see on THEIR websites. The globalists want to ban firearms - ALL firearms - as we can see them moving towards in Canada. Handguns? ARs? Already gone. Now they are targeting what we call 'Fudd guns.'
Then they want to re-purpose farmland away from producing crops that keep us - humans - alive and healthy.
Then they want to eliminate meat consumption, privately owned transportation, and eventually all private property.
Don't trust what I say, go to their websites. It's all there.
What is standing in their way is the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution.
No, the 2nd Amendment will not be remembered in the third and fourth decades of the 21st Century as what saved America from global tyranny.
It will be what saved humanity from global tyranny.

On top of being a great governor, she's gorgeous hahaI really doubt that would change anything. ie: when the country was shut down.locked down for the covid scamdemic, Kristi Noem left the state open and told residence, "its not the government's job to regulate you, use common sense and do what you (Dakodians) feel is the right thing for you to do"

National divorceThats right. You can move and buy some time. very understandable , but sooner later We all have to deal with it .
Those were recommendations mostly. You could get a cop that charges you and a DA that makes it federal or the feds could concentrate their efforts in those states.I really doubt that would change anything. ie: when the country was shut down.locked down for the covid scamdemic, Kristi Noem left the state open and told residence, "its not the government's job to regulate you, use common sense and do what you (Dakodians) feel is the right thing for you to do"

That isn’t necessarily true. That’s the minimum for the license. I do know of two or three security companies that have very “ high speed “ active shooter training with simmuntions, basic hand to hand , and other training — better training than some of their employees had when they were active cops/military.I do believe you have it backwards. In order to be hired as armed security, you need an armed security license, which you obtain on your own by taking the required training and then submitting the training and fingerprints to the state. The license is a credential that is not tied in with any specific employer, it is yours and yours alone. Like a drivers license and a job driving a vehicle for a living.
You can fulfill the requirements for the license entirely on your own, which is expensive, but not terribly so. Most of the expense is ammo.
People who work security are entirely 'normal guys' in that there are very few advantages given to anyone who was prior LE, military or any other profession. Yes, some LE training may count as security training, but once that initial phase of training is complete, the yearly updates are the same for everyone.
Don't for a minute buy that nonsense of a 'high end security agency who only hires the most prestigious law enforcement or military personnel...' Nonsense. Get the training, fingerprints and submit the application to the state. That's it.
The only connections between your armed security license and your armed security employer are: 1) once you are actually hired, you have to take an additional 16 hours, and 2) your employer may pay for class fees and ammo. I said may, not will.
And some are exempt from that initial requirement for the initial training requirement but do have to take the refresher courseNo.
On the job training is NOT a senior co-worker showing you around, similar to an FTO.
What it is... When you are officially hired by an employer, you have to go back and more or less re-take the basic 8 hour class over again.
TWICE.
They just call it on-the-job, but it is really just a repeat of the initial 8 hour security class.
You have a certain reasonable interval of time (90 days) in order to take these classes, but they are just repeats of what you already learned and they are held in the same classroom as you go for the other non-firearm related training. Very boring but you only have to take these two 8 hour 'on the job training' classes once per lifetime.
Understood. However from my experience, many security agencies are simply looking to fill a slot in a schedule with a warm body and call it good.Since I

It’s sounds as if you were selling your self short by applying for security jobs at the lower end of the spectrum. Many of us do.Understood. However from my experience, many security agencies are simply looking to fill a slot in a schedule with a warm body and call it good.
I have taken training above and beyond whatever situation I have found myself in my entire life. But doing so gets time consuming, expensive and repetitive. You also end up realizing that the guy who has taken none of that comes on at 4 and makes the same that I do.
What I am reaching out about to the poster who was confused about the licensing process was simply not to be intimidated. Sure, you can get your hands on training above and beyond, but the basic procedure to be able to stand an armed post with a SECURITY hat, vest or uniform is not at all intimidating.
Yeah....go down to NYC and protect all those nice ppl voting against us every election....makes sense to me....It’s sounds as if you were selling your self short by applying for security jobs at the lower end of the spectrum. Many of us do.
Apply for the corporate security jobs that aren’t retail ( like loss prevention) or a night watchman type position.
I knew a guy who’s only experience was 4 years in the navy( some type of ship’s maintenance -not direct combat related) and a blue belt in BJJ. He got a job where he is the bomb dog handler. They trained him. The downside is that almost all of those jobs are in or have some type of connection to Manhattan ( Wall Street , the diamond or theater district) or other high profile site. There are a lot of openings for those jobs if one is willing to make that trek. I’m not.
YES! Most emphatically Yes! Positive defense.I would ask that you not over-write the forms upon changing them.
Create an archive, with dates.
Anyone ever gets jammed up, we can use that to demonstrate that not only is this population (CCW holders) a stickler for the law, but we are not perfect, and may have left the house one morning under one set of laws, and out of Walmart in cuffs under another set of laws because a judge signed a paper repealing our rights just before lunch.
Your choice.Yeah....go down to NYC and protect all those nice ppl voting against us every election....makes sense to me....
Every county in NY(65) except 9 are Red. Im not feeling represented in our Representative Republic.welp! Most cops are not going to even to attempt to enforce it without being forced into a position to HAVE to make a decision on it. The real problem is going to be like what happened in NJ to the PA corrections officer who got into a car accident. The cop did not arrest him at the scene but when the higher ups found out, they later charged the corrections officer.YES! Most emphatically Yes! Positive defense.
Tractor supply in alden has had a concealed carry or lawful carry permitted sign up since shortly after the bullshit law happened.Well went ot Tractor Supply thins moring to get dog and chicken food. Noticed on the way in that they have a sign that says legal concealed carry is allowed.
I see more and more signs going up saying concealed carry is allowed(at least around my county) and while it sucks we are living under this law at least small and large businesses are showing support for legal concealed carry people.
This is beating the state at their own game if you ask me.
I used to be proud of my NRA lifetime membership....not so much anymore...they seem to be nonexistent lately....I recently joined GOA and FPC as well as donated to FPC. Can't describe how much I appreciate what both of them are doing for us....Blows my mind all the pro gun people in NYS (and on this forum) who love to bitch and complain about things but are unwilling to get involved in a lawsuit in order to change things.
