Most (if not all) of these commentators are using clickbait titles because they know that clicks equals money. I wonder how many of them do any training on a regular basis. Sure, they are 'supporters' of the 2A until some other money making opportunity comes along. The guy with the glasses is the worst of them all. He just re-hashes information AFTER pouring out his thoroughly scripted "but first a word from our supporters" (2 monites of fluf with no informaiton). I don't understand why none of the lawsuits in NY challenged the exemption of retired law enforcement being exempt from the sensitive and restricted places. The Sikhs have a millenia old tradition of *requiring weapon possession at all times*. Most people are familiar with the turbans (idiots mistake them for Muslims, who don't generally require turbans) but also highly important to their religion is that men are armed at all times. In modern practice this is satisfied by carrying a ceremonial dagger. I can't think of any reason why a sect couldn't change that to a pistol as a modern interpretation.

I know it’s easy to be cynical but I believe that things will turn in our favor. The third circuit is backing Bruen. CA, OR, IL and MA are all seeking laws overturned. SCOTUS issued a veiled warning to the Second Circuit. I think NYS will lose on 3/20 and we will win. I also think the Safe Act lawsuit will be won too. They asked for more time to research for their defense which shows they have no defense. I strongly believe that by the end of 2023 we will have some freedom back. I’m sure there are more fights in the horizon, but we must stay the course

LEOSA is not anywhere near as powerful as most think it is, especially since cops get away with carrying more because they are generally law abiding, squared away and in the case of retired guys, old looking, which is also a plus.
LEOSA does not exempt the individual carrying a weapon from following laws of the state they are visiting, does not exempt them from on/near school grounds restrictions, they cannot carry in national parks, post offices, and cannot carry in areas of the state deemed sensitive areas unless the state law specifically exempts them.
LEOSA is an 'affirmative defense' in that it asks a judge to find the defendant 'not guilty' of the act of carrying a firearm, but they must readily admit that they did carry the firearm, but were justified to do so under the LEOSA law. The LEOSA card IS NOT a 'handgun license valid in 50 states' which I have heard officers describe it as.
An on-duty officer encountering someone carrying under LEOSA can make an arrest for possessing an unlicensed firearm, especially if the circumstances of the encounter are such that it is best to haul everyone down to the station house and sort it out there. They will most likely be sent on their way with a handshake and an apology, but under no circumstances is it anywhere near the same as having a carry license from the state you are visiting.
I am soon to be in a situation in which the (about a dozen) licenses in my wallet, combined with reciprocity agreements and Constitutional carry, lower the number of states in which I must place the handgun in the trunk to around 5 states. And I can carry in national parks in those states, which is a major feature of travel, especially out west. I would much rather have that than LEOSA.

My gut feeling says you`re wrong. The gun grabbers will never stop. But regardless, i`m pretty old, so my life time is nearing its end of the road. I had always hoped that i would see us all free again before my time is up, but like i said, my gut feeling, is that the coming years, seem pretty sketchy from where i see this country is heading. Not enough people are willing to fight for freedom anymore. Big brother watches everything you do, everything you say, where you go, what you spend your money on. People are to comfortable. God forbid if someone lost their cell phone for 10 seconds. The gun culture spent to many years pissing on each other. Certain gun owners aren`t concerned if a gun law passes that doesn`t effect "them" personally. Then they get all pissed off when it does effect what they have/own. The gun culture did this to themselves. Ignorance is bliss. But i wish all you younger folks alotta luck. Freedom isn`t free, anywhere. You will have to fight alot harder now.
