Absolutely 100% correct. He stood there and took forever to get his gun out. He was not trained at all. Did it one handed, didn’t use his free hand to expose his gun by lifting his shirt up, didn’t move at all. Hell even if he side shuffled he could have lived.
I carry at church and I’m part of my security team. I’d love to know what he said to the guy standing in the corner because it seems like he motioned to the security guy and exposed him. Seems like he pointed him out to the perp with the gun.

Holy shit yeah so at least five people in that church were carrying. I met a guy in texas in the spring (cop) who said he carries at church and shrugged by saying "it's texas".

My first viewing this morning and my first thought was after the bad guy was down and clearly covered by two armed men, the two that came down the aisle with guns sweeping the congregation should have spread out, hollered for everyone to stay down and looked for a second shooter. Just my thoughts. Guy made a damn fine shot.

I just had a conversation with a coworker about copy cat crimes . He thinks I'm overboard crazy carrying while I go to the movies or Xmas shopping.. I'm not one to attend church , but if I did it would be armed,, seems to be a rather popular place for those intending to do harm these days. Mental baskets don't seem to have an original thought in their sick heads so they are predictable..

That’s not always true. It has been proven that those that never trained in appendix were still faster than the 4 o’clock they were used to.


And then you have other methods like ankle or off body that are slower no matter how much you train.

There are more than that that carry at my church. In the service that I go to alone there are probably 10-12 guys armed there and it’s NYS. We have a security budget and are going to organize some trainings and classes. We have $5,000 per year allocated and we could get more if needed.

I can’t believe it I was watching CBS news this morning and Jerika Duncan actually praises the citizen for killing the armed attacker, said it was a good thing the law was changed so they could be armed, and it is how it should work with armed citizens, another said well I don’t know if more guns make us safer some would argue that.
